Please join us in prayer for a beloved member of our Behold community Sharon Gaspard, who serves us so generously with her wonderful food and generous heart, is grieving the loss of her son-in-law, Cody Gardiner. Her daughter Katey was just with us for our Motherโ€™s Day retreat. Let us surround Sharon, Katey, and their entire family with our prayers and support.โค๏ธ

As a community of sisters, we invite you to join us in supporting this family. Please consider offering a Rosary, praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet, or dedicating time during a Holy Hour for their intentions.๐Ÿ™

Thank you!

Pope Leo XIV recently gifted the Church with the deeply moving encyclical Magnifica Humanitas. If you seek a profound understanding of this radiant document, here is the essence of its message. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

At the center of this letter is a breathtaking reminder of our divine origins. You are not a mere sequence of data or an accident of the cosmos. You are a deliberate masterpiece breathed into existence by the Divine Artist. Every human being bears the indelible Imago Dei, the image of God. This is the root of our undeniable dignity. โœจ

Addressing the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, the Holy Father offers a vital vision for our era. He acknowledges technological achievements but insists that no algorithm can ever replicate the sacred sanctuary of the human conscience. Artificial intelligence must always remain an instrument serving human flourishing and never diminish our free will. While machines process boundless information, only a human heart can possess authentic wisdom, practice virtue, and receive the transformative fire of divine grace. ๐Ÿ’ป

This dignity is beautifully anchored in the mystery of the Incarnation. When Christ took on our flesh, He forever elevated human nature. Pope Leo XIV teaches that the Lord did not come to rescue us from our humanity, but to redeem and glorify it. Our quiet sorrows, physical frailties, and capacity to love are deeply sacred. Grace does not destroy nature. Instead, it perfects it. Your everyday life is the exact place where heaven meets earth. โ›ช

This encyclical is also a profound call to communion. Because every person reflects the Creator, we are challenged to look upon our neighbors with radical awe. The Pope urges us to build a world prioritizing the human heart over cold efficiency. We must protect the vulnerable and recognize the face of Jesus in the marginalized. To love another person is to catch a glimpse of God Himself. ๐Ÿ™

Magnifica Humanitas is ultimately a beacon of unshakable hope. It invites us to pause, look deeply at those around us, and marvel at the magnificent humanity God has so graciously given us. ๐Ÿ“–

This is a beautiful reflection on the gift of Mary as a spiritual mother. In the Christian tradition, particularly within Catholic theology, this moment is often rooted in the Gospel of John (John 19:26-27), when Jesus, while on the cross, looks at his mother and the beloved disciple and says, "Behold, your mother."

This is widely understood as Jesus giving Mary to all believers as their mother.

When God blessed me with a vision, He sent me this exact scripture passageโ€”the same one we reflect on through Behold Catholic Ministries, Inc.

It marks the profound moment Jesus gave us His Mother from the cross. Today, He is reminding each of us of that beautiful truth: you, too, can have Mary as your spiritual mother.

Many people find comfort in bringing their daily joys and trials to her in prayer, viewing her as a powerful intercessor and a model of faith, humility, and trust in God.

โ€œBehold, your mother.โ€ (John 19:27). These words are spoken from the Cross.
โฃ
"... thus the blessed Virgin Mary, after participating in the redeeming sacrifice of the Son, and in such an intimate way as to deserve to be proclaimed by Him the Mother not only of His disciple John but - may we be allowed to affirm it - of mankind which he in some way represents, now continues to fulfill from heaven her maternal function as the cooperator in the birth and development of divine life in the individual souls of redeemed men."
