What a way to kick off our annual church picnic at Blue Springs State Park! We had an amazing time; the rain held off and the sun was shining with no rain in sight. It's always good for laughter, food, and fellowship. We were celebrating 157 years of God's faithfulness, honoring our heritage and embracing our future. One church, one faith, one family.

The situation feels impossible. The gap between where you are and where you need to be feels too wide. But Ephesians 3:20 tells us He is able to do far more than we could ask or even imagine. On behalf of the entire Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church family, we extend our sincerest gratitude to Minister Kyeisha Ward for blessing us as our guest speaker during our 157th Church Anniversary celebration.

Your message was nothing short of anointed. The congregation was moved, stirred, and deeply touched by every word you delivered. You came prepared, you came with power, and you left no one unchanged. The people were truly blown away, and it is a testament to the gift God has placed within you.

We are grateful that you chose to share your time and your anointing with us on such a monumental occasion. As we celebrate 157 years of honoring our heritage and embracing our future, your message will remain in the hearts of this congregation for years to come.

Some of you are carrying burdens nobody knows about. You smile in public, but you cry in private. You’ve prayed, waited, and wondered when God is going to move.

Today, remember this truth:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

Not a distant help. Not an occasional help. A very present help.

The same God who parted the Red Sea, closed the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the grave is still working today. He has not forgotten your prayers. He has not overlooked your tears. He has not abandoned His promises.

Don’t let a difficult season make you doubt an eternal God.

Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep standing on His Word.

What God has spoken, He will perform. What God has promised, He will fulfill. And what God starts, He finishes.

Be encouraged: your situation may be changing slowly, but your God has never changed at all.

“Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

Stay faithful. Stay hopeful. Stay anchored in Christ.
