Thank-you for visiting UMC Ministries - Uganda. This page is where you can find information about our projects and how we utilize the resources you provide us to benefit the United Methodist Churches and the people of Uganda.
Please feel free to not only read, but also to share our story. We trust that you consider what we are doing a worthy ministry and hope you will join with us. We invite you to consider donating to UMC Ministries Uganda. There are several ways you can do this:
1) For people living in Uganda and having access to mobile money, simply send to (MTN) 0779879020, the name on the account is our treasurer, Kalungi Kenneth.
2) For people living outside of Uganda, you can also send directly to us by going online and using the website www.worldremit.com .
You will need to set up an account with World Remit, but it's free. Then follow the prompts for sending money to Uganda (currency is UGX) via their mobile money partner with MTN and to the phone number (+256 -- that's the country code) and mobile number 779879020 (the name on the account is Kalungi Kenneth).
3) Another way to donate online is to go to the website for our American partner ministry, Harper Hill Global, and then on their drop down menu for donations find “UMC Ministries – Uganda.” Click on the link, select “UMC Ministries – Uganda” as the program recipient (also, be sure to write a note to the same effect in the message box), fill in the form for the amount you have chosen to give (the addition of 2.5% helps us to cover bank processing fees), and then submit and you’re done.

4) For those who prefer more traditional means, you can still donate by mail. Just make out your check out to Harper Hill Global and put “UMC Ministries – Uganda” on the memo line. Then mail it to:
