Happy New Year to all our friends and family of Smile Africa Ministries in Tororo, Uganda!!! We pray that you are well and blessed in the Lord this new year. We wanted to let you all know that there are several other ministries that use a similar name, but that we are not associated or affiliated with any of them. Smile Africa is an organization in Tororo, Uganda that provides holistic care to infants, children, widows, and the disabled by addressing their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.

At Smile Africa Ministries yesterday we were so grateful and blessed to receive members from the Ugandan Parliamentary Forum For Children, Tororo District Officials led by PSWO Susan Alamai and members of Child's I Foundation. We thank God for your leadership and for our common purpose of serving the welfare and best interest of children. Thank you for visiting us, our discussions and for speaking with the children. May God continue to bless you all.🙏✝️❤️

Anabell is doing a great job training youths in baking skills!!! It is so wonderful to see the tangible fruits of vocational training... and to taste them too!!!

Some of our young adults are taking advantage of our hair dressing saloon for vocational training, learning to style with the blow dryer and the shaving machine.

Vocational training activities are continuing to resume. Today we had 8 young men picking up with welding where they had left off. We are so grateful that we are able to provide these valuable life skills to our youth.

Resumed our Wednesday evening Bible study. Doing a study of 1 Peter. Today we learned that as Christians we are foreigners in this world, but citizens of heaven; our hope is not in worldly things, but is eternal; we will experience suffering as Christians, but can and should simultaneously experience joy; we are tasked to live holy lives and to love others. So grateful for God's Word and for the opportunity to learn in fellowship with others.

The holidays between school terms is the perfect opportunity for our primary going students to learn some basic hairdressing skills. So proud of our daughter Safari who is now Smile Africa Ministries' hair dressing instructor!!!

We've picked up right where we left off and thank God for the renewal of our Sunday fellowship!!! We celebrated Christ's resurrection by reading from 1 John the importance of understanding that Christ came in the flesh to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins and the sheer necessity for us to be repentant and confess our sins that we may be forgiven by God, embracing the resurrection, giving room for Christ to live in our hearts ✝️🙏❤️ Happy Easter everyone... Christ is Risen!!!

As admins we have added our donations to our Smile Africa Ministries community food distribution funds. As we continue feeding children and at-risk members of the Tororo community who are in dire need.
