GOD LOVES YOU

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 KJV)

You need to live with the assurance that God loves you. Having this assurance will enable you live a life of victory. When you pray with the understanding that God loves you, you receive the answers to your prayers. Some people believe that they should ask for forgiveness for all the sins they have committed before they can pray to God, this reveals that they are not certain of His love.

God doesn't ask you to confess all your sins in order to be saved. He asks you to confess the Lordship of Jesus over your life. When you confess that Jesus is Lord, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you are saved. You are washed from your sins and the righteousness of God is stamped in your spirit.

Can you talk to God about an area that is bothering you? Certainly! 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (KJV) When you talk to God, you receive strength to turn away from the wrong thing and move in the right direction. Praise the Lord!

CONFESSION

Blessed be God who has loved me with an everlasting love. God’s love for me is unconditional. God hears me when I pray and He answers me. I am washed, sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God. I am the righteousness of God now. I am dead to sin and alive to God. Sin has no dominion over me, for I am under grace.

GROW TO MATURITY
Friday 18th September, 2026

“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.” (Galatians 4:1-2 KJV)

The word child (Greek “nepios”) used here means someone who has not learnt how to talk. Such a person does not differ from a servant even though he is lord of all, he is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. The appointed time does not refer to a specific calendar time like next year in December. It is a place of maturity. One is trained until he becomes mature.

When a child goes to primary school, he has to follow through from primary one to primary seven and pass all the required examinations then go to secondary school. If he doesn’t pass the examinations, he will not proceed to secondary school even if he has spent seven years in primary school.

Similarly, maturity in the things of God is not based on how long someone has been born again. He must give himself wholly to the Word of God and grow to a place where he can talk the Word of God boldly, accurately and in love.

Pay attention to the Word of God. Study and listen to the Word of God consistently. Believe the Word of God and talk the Word of God. You will make progress from glory to glory. You will walk in the inheritance that God has freely given to you. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I incline my ears to the Word of God. I study and listen to the Word consistently. I speak the truth in love. I grow and make progress limitlessly. I walk in the inheritance that God has freely given to me. Hallelujah!
