POETS OF DIVINE LOGOS INSPIRATIONAL TALKS
(A gospel based composition of the lost disciple)
JESUS PUZZLES US ALL
It's a cool evening, we are 12 in a large upper decorated room. Only the Master and eleven. Our best treasurer Judas has just moved out for reasons we can't tell. Only what we know is that our master has told him to go and do quickly what he wants to do. Our master is feeling very troubled and heavy. The strong old Peter is breathing threats to die with any one who touches our master. The little young John is also in sorrow. "If you have money in the purse buy a sword, if you have no money, sell you garment" shouts our master. Oh God!, what's going on?, "swords for what!" asked our selves with all our minds in sorrow. No one knows why our master asks for swords. What was was coming soon no one knew except the master. Good enough Peter always moves with his sharp two edged sword. His brother Andrew also learnt it from his brother to always move with one. Whether it is a habit of fishermen to carry swords with them or not I can't tell. "Lord, look, here are two swords ". Said Peter. "It is enough" answered Master. Days of argony where approaching, death was knocking on door. For the war which was nigh was not leaving both our Master and the disciples alive. If at all each had a sword it would be fine but still who among us had tactics of fighting with a sword?. Peter is a fisherman, he breaths out threats for nothing. Matthew was a tax collector, tax collection is not related to sword fighting. The two sons of Zebedee, James and John are fishermen too. "Who can protect the master?" I asked my self.
So far the night has been far spent , and we are now on a large mountain. We are three under the tree in a garden. The 8 where ordered to stay near the river. Our master is praying afar off. For us we have failed to pray, we feel very heavy and sorrowful. Instead of ordering us to take covers and sharpen our swords to protect him, the master has just told us to pray. We are seeing lights afar off and a multitude of soldiers. Peter pulls out his sword from it's sheath. Master tells him to put it back. All things pain but what pained was Judas. All along he was with our master, feasting with us but when is a traitor. All along he had been a spot in the feast of charity, clouds without water. Look at him how he comes to kiss and identify out his master. " Who are you looking for"? asks our master. " Jesus of Nazareth" answers the soldiers. To our great surprise, all opponents including Judas moved forth a little and like someone who has knocked a stump, they moved back and fell. Our master demonstrated great power but little did we know that he was soon to surrender. Malchus, a soldier came out to arrest our master and Peter whose temper was boiling did not wait to smite off his right ear. "Put again the sword back into it's place". Shouted the master. This voice troubled Peter and he lost energy. All of us lost hope and we became weak. All the disciples left including Peter and I only remained. Due to fear, I removed off my garmet and I threw it to the soldiers. I took off naked and we all scattered. Who I'm I?

A BLESSED BORN AGAIN IS LIKE A TREE

(Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.)

He has to be rooted, built up, and stablished in SOIL(faith). He is then supplied with WATER(christ) & MINERAL SALTS(fertility supplies), he grows with leaves ever green (no withering) and then BRINGS FORTH FRUIT. See below

THE SOIL(FAITH): This is the foundation in which a new born again who has just received Christ walks in and stablished. (Col 2:6-7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Col 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the FAITH, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.)

THE WATER AND MINERAL SALTS.
These are the things(WORD OF GOD) such as Virtue(goodness), Knowledge(Gnosis or scientific knowledge),Temperance(self control),Patience,Godliness(fear of Lord),Brotherly kindness(Philadelphia or fraternity) and Charity(Agape love or benevolence). The bible says in 2 Peter 1:8 that if these things be in you, you shall be fertile and fruitful.

THE FRUIT(not fruits but fruit)
When the water and mineral salts mix, they form a fruit known as the FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS or FRUIT of SPIRIT. This fruit contains,
Gal 5:22-23 But the FRUIT of the SPIRIT is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

THE SAVOUR IN FRUIT(sweetness or SALT or Good works).
These are the good works we have to maintain or the salt of this world.(Col 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being FRUITFUL in every GOOD WORK, and increasing in the knowledge of God)

THE SAVOUR IN FRUIT IS SALT WE MANIFEST(PHANEROO)
(Mat 5:13 Ye are the SALT of the earth: but if the SALT have lost his SAVOUR, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.)

BE A SOLDIER OF CHRIST READY TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH.

COMPONENTS OF THE WHOLE
ARMOUR OF GOD
(THE SIX SPIRITUAL DEADLY WEAPONS)

1. TRUTH(verity): This is girt(fastened as a belt) in the spiritual loins(hips)

2.RIGHTEOUSNESS:This is a BREASTPLATE( called Thorax in greek) girt in the chest(between neck and navel)

3.GOSPEL OF PEACE: This is shod(bound) on feet

4.SHIELD OF FAITH: This shield is oblong(door shaped) covering the all body(spirit) from head to legs. It has ability to quench (extinguish) all fiery(burning) darts(missiles) of the wicked(devil)

5.HELMET OF SALVATION (encirclement of head): This is the protection of the soul(head)

6.SWORD OF SPIRIT(Word of God) : This is the only offensive weapon and the most dangerous of all weapons mentioned : This weapon is called RHEMA in greek which is the word specifically directed to the devil from one's mouth as a command and it is efficient if properly used.

Those weapons of our spiritual warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
Therefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
