Development Agency). Evangel church World Vision Kabimbiri established Evangel care Program (EVACAP) Development Agency to respond to the needs of the disadvantaged in communities. This is the charitable component of Evangel church World Vision Kabimbiri, Pastored by Pastor George Wilson Oliver Kaniike
Background
EVACAP (Evangel Care Program) Development Agency is a faith based organization founded in 1993 as a charitable service provider, caring for the marginalized and vulnerable people of Uganda. Considering Uganda’s history that is marred with various forms of social unrest, diseases especially HIV&AIDS, famine, economic and cultural struggles, resulting into big number of orphans, intense inadequacy of social services, early pregnancies/marriages, and children dropping out of school and under development among youths especially girls living in abject poverty. Due to dropping out of schools at primary level, majority of adolescent girls have lacked apprenticeship and employment skills. Achievements: we have more than 250 male and 2000 female beneficiaries
Vision: Seeing a flourished community free of ignorance, poverty, resentment trauma and psychological torture such as HIV/AIDS, rights abuse and other psycho-social mistreats and risks for every child to have a smile. Objective 1: To engage the local communities in holistic sustainable development
Objective 2: To address marginalization and abuses of children in the communities
