Our community stands in solidarity with Israel as we reflect on the tragic events that transpired during the unprecedented attack by Hamas. This video serves as a solemn remembrance of the lives lost and the deep pain caused by these horrific acts of violence. Our community shares its prayers, support, and unwavering commitment to peace and justice in these challenging times. We call upon all to join us in honouring the memory of those affected and to continue advocating for safety and unity for the people of Israel.

๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ What a delightful day we had at the Childrenโ€™s Pre Pesach Seder in the Mukono Orthodox Jewish community on April 21st, 2024! ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ

It was heartwarming to see our little ones immerse themselves in the traditions and stories of Passover, learning about freedom, faith, and resilience. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone participated with enthusiasm and joy.

Special thanks to all the organizers, volunteers, and families who made this event possible. Together, we created cherished memories and strengthened the bonds of our community.

The 15th of Shevat on the Jewish calendarโ€”celebrated this year on Thursday January 25, 2024โ€”is the day that marks the beginning of a โ€œnew yearโ€ for trees. Commonly known as Tu Bishvat, this day marks the season in which the earliest-blooming trees in the Land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle.
