e was started in 2002 by Rev Wilson Sentongo, who is the senior pastor and the general Overseer for Fellowship of Community Churches central and mid- western region of Uganda. He served the Lord while in Prison and narrowly survived death for sake of the gospel. Rev Sentongo rose from the level of a young minister in the city of Kampala to the level of the greatest mentor in the history of Ugandan Church. He is married to Julient Sentongo a Pastor too and a gentle father of three biological children and grandchildren. And, 85 dependents who are under his fatherly care. While pastoring a then small church in a remote village called Kaweeri, Wilson was moved to start planting churches across the region with a focus of transforming the community for Christ and has over 100 churches under his leadership. Canaan Welfare Centre centers all its activities on the bible. In Kaweeri, children were not going to school, due lack of fees and other scholastic materials. clean water was scare and not accessible to the community. Piped water is available but it’s costly especially to the needy. With the passion to transform the lives of people in kaweeri and Mubende at large, we started a school called Muleete Agape Christian School this was in kitenga sub-county in 2001. Today this school has 375 children. Today most of them have gone to the higher up to the university. The community is getting transformed day by day. WHAT WE ARE. To transform our society by improving on the physical quality of life of children and community through feeding, education, health, water and sanitation, environment protection and electricity. OUR ACHEIVEMENTS:
• Build a house the house 53 children.
• Got land of 1 acre in town worthy fifteen million Uganda shillings.
• Taken children to school 85 of them.
• We have pig rearing project for sustainability.
• Children are feeding well at Home.
• They are given getting clothing’s, beddings, and mattresses. HOW WE GET FOOD.
• Sometimes we hire land to grow food to feed the children at Home.
• During dry season, food is bought from shops to feed the children.
