What a beautiful Sunday!

Bishop Fred Magango led us in dedicating our children to God today. This is biblical — from Samuel to Jesus, parents have always presented their children to the Lord.

He prayed over each child, trusting God’s plan for their lives.
“Let the little children come to me” - Mark 10:14

Congratulations to all the families. The future is bright!

✝️SUNDAY SERMON HIGHLIGHT | 19th April 2026✝️

“Temple Curtain Torn: Pastor Mwima Highlights Direct Access to God".

Today at Pentecostal Churches of Uganda, Kasaana-Mubende, Pastor Mwima reminded us of the unmatched power in the name of Jesus Christ.

He reflected on great men like former President Idi Amin and Nelson Mandela. They were powerful, but their names cannot save anyone today.

But Jesus — born of flesh, died, and resurrected — saves billions every day around the world. 🙌

From Matthew 27:50–53 (NLT):
_“At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom...”_
That torn curtain means you can now speak to God directly. No middleman needed.

Whatever you’re facing this week, don’t give up on trusting God. You have direct access to Him.

Bishop Fred Magango Assured Believers of Victory Through Jesus Christ's Resurrection on Easter Day

On Easter Sunday, Bishop Fred Magango, leading pastor of Pentecostal Churches of Uganda Kasaana-Mubende, delivered a powerful sermon, reaffirming the triumph of Jesus Christ over death.

Citing Matthew 28:6 NLT, "He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying," Bishop Magango emphasized that Jesus' resurrection brought victory to all who believe in Him.

"The resurrection of Jesus Christ came with Victory, and this Victory surpassed to all who believe in Him," Bishop Magango declared. He assured believers that no challenge, including poverty or death, can shake their faith, referencing Matthew 28:18 NLT, "Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth."

Bishop Magango encouraged believers to hold onto Jesus, emphasizing that with Him, they are more than conquerors. He noted that Jesus' crucifixion was a pivotal moment in His ultimate victory, setting a table of testimony before Him.

"Don't worry about the problems of this world; with Jesus, the problems are sending you into your victory," Bishop Magango said, urging believers to remain steadient in their faith and obey God's word.

As believers worldwide celebrate Easter, commemorating Jesus' resurrection, Bishop Magango prayed for peace for everyone, wishing that whatever has died in their lives would be resurrected.

The Easter celebration serves as a reminder of God's love and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, inspiring believers to rededicate themselves to God's will.

The Transformative Power of God's Gospel

Beloved brethren, today I want to share with you the goodness of God's gospel. In 1 Timothy 1:11-17, we are reminded of the glorious Good News entrusted to us by our blessed God.

I reflect on my own life, and I testify that God has done great things. The day before President Museveni took power in 1986, I had 800,000/= Uganda shillings, but I squandered it on drink. Yet, the next day, an elderly evangelist shared the gospel with me, and I accepted Jesus Christ. My life was transformed!

From a drunkard to a faithful servant, God graciously saved me. As Paul wrote, "I am the worst of sinners, but God had mercy on me" (1 Timothy 1:13, 15). Today, I serve as a pastor, leading others to Christ.

Brethren, never stop preaching the gospel. Jesus warned us of challenges (Matthew 10:16-17), but He promised to be with us. Let's accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior and experience His transformative power.

As we approach Easter, let's remember the power of the Gospel. Share it with others, and let's inspire others to experience God's love. May God bless you! 🙏

Yesterday, we celebrated a milestone as over 30 Christians graduated from our discipleship class after a year of dedicated study. We're thrilled that they've deepened their understanding of God's word and are equipped to spread His teachings. The scripture comes alive in Matthew 28:19-20, and we're grateful they're now part of fulfilling this Great Commission. Bishop Fred Magango, our leading pastor, handed out certificates to mark this special occasion.

We bless the Almighty God for the gift of life.
