*Launching of the newly constructed gate at Mbarara Junior School.*
On Thursday 25th April 2024, the Bishop of Ankole Diocese Rt. Rev. Assoc. Prof Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa accompanied by the RCC, Dean St James cathedral The Very Rev Canon Bobs Nathan Mwesigye, officially opened the long waited gate of Mbarara Junior School.
The Headteacher Mbarara Junior School Mr. Mugume Nathan in his communication introduced the board members, Chief Guest, RCC, City Education Officer, Senior Obs, Head teachers of other schools, teachers, principal HRO of Mbarara City and members of Management. He thanked the government for the continuous support towards the school in terms of salary.
The Chair of school management in his communication thanked the efforts of teachers, head teacher, Parents and Ministry of education for paying salaries. He appreciated the work being done at Mbarara Junior School especially members of staff and Headteacher for implementing everything that is always planned. He thanked Mr. Karaganwa for donating the proposed site plan for Mbarara Junior School.
The Diocesan Education secretary Rev Canon Agasha Muhwezi in his remarks thanked Mbarara Junior School for the good work done and for always representing the Diocese so well.
The RCC thanked Bishop Sheldon for the good work he is doing in the Diocese and thanked Mr. Mugume Nathan for elevating Mbarara Junior School to what it is now. He encouraged members to work so hard to support government to execute their duties well.
The Bishop of Ankole, The Rt. Rev. Assoc. Prof. Fred Sheldon thanked God for officially opening the mighty gate and thanked God for the good leadership of Mbarara Junior School that has worked so hard to bring this beautiful gate to place. Bishop Sheldon Mwesigwa applauded the Headmaster Mr Mugume for good financial discipline that enabled to close the term without a single debt of any supplier alongside constructing thr magnificent gate and other developments.
Bishop Sheldon thanked the school management and PTA for the support rendered to the school. He encouraged members to get rid of every malice, jealous and hate in their community and then they will live in harmony and in peace.
