The East African Revival Museum hosted Prof.Derrick Peterson (Prof of History and African Studies) from the University of Michgan. He held a lecture at the grounds about the East African Revival. He shared part of his research about the Revival where he wrote a book titled “Ethnic Patriotism and the East African Revival”. His argument was that Revivalists refused to bow down to the rules of tradition and ancestrall culture. The Bishop appreciated him for doing research about Revival and encouraged him to come on board to further this research especially on the connection between longevity and born again Christians. The bishop donated books to the Prof. Who also promised to donate his in December.

"While the opportunity is there, I preach the Gospel with all my might, and my conscience is clear before God that I have not sided with the present government which is utterly self-seeking. I have been threatened many times. Whenever I have the opportunity I have told the president the things the churches disapprove of. God is my witness. Janani Luwum"

Don't miss more of his wisdom quotes this week which begins today from 10am to 11am on revival radio 93.2fm. Its going to be running for a week please don't miss out on these refreshing moments at East African Revival Museum.
Great memories.

Wow gracefully aging. Great man of God by God's grace he is One hundred years of age 100 years. Zabron Kabaza got saved around 1936 one of first Balokole of East African Revival Movement in Ankole
Prof Iraaka 79 years old recently gave testimony on Revival Radio how Mr Kabaza then school inspector confronted him around I think 1950s outside school with word of God when he was a teenager at Mbarara High school. Prof Iraaka a medic accepted Jesus Christ but hid from Kabaza when he came to preach same afternoon at MHS. Mr Kabaza in his sermon called for new convert who had pretended to be sick for fear of showing the whole school that he had accepted Jesus Christ. When they picked him from dormitory he gathered strength and admitted that he had accepted Jesus Christ and rest is history.
Join us as we celebrate this great man of God today at East African Revival Museum.

It begins today evening and you surely don't want to miss it at all. We will be dea will you?

Today in history we remember the 6th archbishop of Uganda who happens to have pushed the work of the Namugongo Anglican shrines museum to promote faith based tourism. One who God picked from the garage where he worked as a mechanic and spoke to him to go and become a clergy.
