THE DAILY TRUMPET DEVOTIONAL

Colossians 2:14(AMP)-Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross.

SET FREE BY THE CROSS

No standard we could try to set however perfect would ever set us free from the life of sin and death brought about by the law. We could try a lifetime to fulfill the law but only end up standing totally insufficient in rightness and weaker by day.

Christ counted all our cost of trying to live upto something we could never amount to. With His ever increasing mercies that never cease, Our Christ decided to get the law off our way and with His own blood met the entire requirement.

Having our faith on Christ who also is the author and finisher of it is the beginning of freedom. Christ triumphantly withstood the pain of the cross, He won a battle none of us would not dare come close and with the victory invited us to share with him through faith.

He set aside and cleared completely out of our way the demands of the law by nailing it to [His] cross. And with this assurance; our sin(past, present and future) was as well wiped away.

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION
Lord, you are my Christ; the anointed one. With your love portrayed on the cross; I live a life free from the demands of the law fully knowing that your blood was adequate and sufficient to wipe me as white as snow. I now live a life of grace and righteousness through your gift of salvation, in Jesus’ mighty name; amen.

Matthew 16:16(NKJV) - Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

WORSHIPPING WITH RIGHT REVELATION

To live a life of purpose in Christianity one must firstly have a personal revelation of whom Christ is to them. You only worship who you really know.

While the disciples walked with Jesus, only one of them really knew Him and had the revelation of where he came from and what he came to do. It is possible to give yourself wholly every day to worship but without the knowledge of the one to whom it goes to. With that kind of direction you might not worship in the way God leads.

John says ‘God is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in truth and in Spirit’. With that kind of relationship we are able to exalt, wiship, praise and glorify a God we have a direction on how to worship Him.

Invest yourself in knowing whom you worship. Cultivate more into the way and manner in which God wants you to worship Him. For with this kind of wisdom you will be able to present yourself as a living sacrifice to the Lord. Hallelujah!

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION
Lord, with ever ounce of my wisdom, I choose to cultivate a life of constructive inquiry and interaction in your courts. I glory in worship because I know whom I serve and worship, In Jesus’ name, amen.

Proverbs 12:24 [NKJV] The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy [man] will be put to forced labor.

THE POWER OF DILIGENCE

Diligence is about being careful and persistent in your work or efforts. It's like seeing something through to the end, paying attention to details, and not giving up easily. Such a careful approach will sharpen your agility to a life of success.

Diligence is paramount in everything we do and it is essential for everything because as you practice it your businesses on earth find meaning and accuracy.

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him that implies without diligence there are things we cannot get from God.

Diligence is an attribute of Faith because you cannot continue until you have hope. You may enjoy gold, diamond and silver products but think about someone who gets it from underneath the surface. Diligence is the sacrifice for success.

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION
My Loving Lord, I am diligent at everything you have entrusted to me ino order to get the best out of it and accomplish it well. I am quickened by the Spirit of God which as well is the power through which diligence finds its agility in men, in Jesus’ name, amen.
