*Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.*

WHEN THE HEART SPEAKS

Some of the lessons learnt from Jesus' story of a fig tree is faith and confession. Both confession and faith come from the same place and they both move hand in hand. In other words you confess what you have believed and you still believe what you have confessed.

From our theme scripture, Jesus teaches us the place of our confession. He says if you say to a mountain and do not doubt in your heart, this gives us an understanding that this kind of confession is not a mouth confession but a heart issue.

Confessing beyond doubt is spoken by the heart, when someone is speaking from this place sometime you don't even need to utter out words but as long as the heart is speaking faith is at work.

For instance, we can remember when Jesus was raising Lazarus his prayer was father I thank you because you heard me and the question is when did He pray? It was a heart confession at the time He knew that Lazarus was dead.

This kind of confession is very important because you speak what you have already received in your heart and then confession brings it to pass. This means by the time you speak it out your heart has already created it.

Dear loving father, I thank you for the place of my heart. Thank you that my heart speaks more than my lips and every confession made from today will be that which comes from my heart. In Jesus Name Amen

Matthew 6:7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen [do.] For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

HOW TO PRAY IF ~ PRAY AND BELIEVE

When Jesus was teaching us about prayer, He reflected a very important lesson about faith hidden in his words.

From our theme scripture, we see Jesus prohibiting us vain repetitions of words. This means if you pray for something do it once and leave it.

If you pray for something today, and it seems not to come to pass and you pray for the same thing tomorrow it shows that you didn't believe the first time you prayed.

But remember the bible says that whatsoever you pray for and believe that you have received it you shall have it. This means that when you pray believe that you have received and wait for the manifestation.

So do we just dump our prayer requests even when they are not answered? No, pray once and keep thanking God for what you prayed for until you receive it.

Thanksgiving is not asking. We ask in prayer but we also give thanks in prayer. The two sound differently in the ears of God.

CHRIST GRACE ~ DEVOTION

Jude 1:24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present [you] faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,

OF OUR PRESERVATION.

1 Corinthians 1:30 says
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—

Christ did not only redeem us but He became that very redemption to us. This means that when we receive Him as Lord and saviour, we do not only receive Him who can redeem us but we receive redemption.

This translates us into being the work of redemption. You become the very redemption, sanctification and righteousness. This is the immunity to all things that would defile us.

So when Jude by the spirit of God tells us that Christ is able to keep us from stumbling, He doesn't mean that you won't see things that would stumble you but you have that power in you that even when they come you are able to overcome them.

This is a place of our victory because Christ has given us such dominion over sin that we are now the master of our old master. Sin can not control us.

This is his exceeding joy that He presents us to His father without blame because of His righteousness that we became. What a saviour!!!!

Loving Father I thank you for who you are to me. For am in Christ who became redemption, sanctification and righteousness to me. Am redeemed, sanctified and righteous because you became. Thank you Lord that am blameless and am your joy. In Jesus Name Amen

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

*lTHE SPIRIT OF A SEEKER

The bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and it's righteousness as a basis of seeing all other things being added to us.

Today am led to share the spirit that seeks. When you look at the Greek translation of the word seek, it's not a place of looking for the unknown but a place of giving your loyalty to what you have. It's a place of finding more of what you have. It's a place of relationship.

In otherwords, seeking here is worship. And one of the ways of worship is giving our loyalty to the one we worship and in this case it's God.

We can also see an instruction followed by a reward. Meaning the reward of a seeker is to be sought after. Christ is trying to teach us that if we give our loyalty to God, all these other things will give their loyalty to us.

Our place in seeking is a spirit ready to worship God no matter what the circumstances predict. The spirit that is loyal to its master however much it has been enriched and satisfied by the things of the world.

What satisfies our souls is the loyalty we give to the kingdom which rewards us with the loyalty that we receive back from other things. This is gaining control over all things instead of us being controlled by them. It's a place of death towards materialism and being so alive towards worship.

Thank you Holy Spirit for teaching me how to seek. With nothing reserved to myself I pledge my aligence to seek and worship you alone. Thank you Lord for the reward of a seeker. Father I don't seek because of the reward but am rewarded because of seeking. In Jesus Name Amen

John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and [they] are life.

SPEAK LIFE

The contention is between two kingdoms. It's either the kingdom of light or the kingdom of darkness. There is no middle ground every thing belongs somewhere.

From our theme scripture, Jesus mentions two things; spirit and flesh and then spirit and life.

Every word spoken is spirit but not every word spoken is life. For Jesus, because He is a life giving spirit, the words he spoke were spirit and life.

We must watch our words because in our words there is power of life or death. The power of life comes when you speak life and the power death comes when you speak death.

Because every word is spirit, any word that comes out of our lips there is a spirit which holds it and and act according to it. Satan will never know what is concealed in your heart utnil you speak it.

If you confess fear, the devil will connect all the dots to show you fear and when you confess life the Spirit of God will manifest the very life spoken.

From here the bible teaches us not to throw away our confession because it holds a great reward. No matter what the situation speaks, refuse to speak otherwise.

Our words are the expressions of our faith and through this faith we believe that our worlds are framed. Therefore what you speak frames what you see happening in your life.

John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

LIGHT OF THE WORLD

The reason why God created light immediately after heaven and earth is because nothing can have life without light. Before any other living thing was created light was.

The new testament shows us the source and the nature of this light. The bible says that in Him(Christ) was life and this very life was the light to men. In other words the light created in genesis was the reflection of the light which was in Christ.

This means, Christ was the life of every living thing. No wonder the bible says that the first Adam was a living soul but the last Adam was the life giving spirit.

In addition, the word testifies that we who believed we received the spirit of the sone(Christ). This gives us the very light which was in Jesus at the creation of the world.

In our present world, we carry the responsibility of giving life because we received the life giving spirit. Jesus mentions it clearly that we are the light of the world, a city built on the hill that can not be hidden.

Child of God, you are the light of the world and the illumination in you is not only that people will see where to go but that they will also receive life. You carry such a responsibility that whatever comes into contact with you has to receive life because of the light that you carry.

Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

SALT OF THE WORLD

When the bible says we are the salt of the world, it's a degree to which we are important to this world. The way food can't be food without salt is the same way the world can't be what it is without us.

Every child of God must understand this value and respond likewise because if we don't understand this we can't take our position in the world.

Some times the world puts us so low by it's judgement of how life must be. In some area where we don't match these standards we fall short of our value because we have believed the judgement of the world.

Whether you have money or not, renting or not, driving or not you still carry the flavour that the world needs. Child of God never put yourself so low because you haven't received certain things. The world can't live without you.

The word encourages us to stay on course because if we loose our flavour the world will become godless and thus it's destruction. The Lord has refrained His anger and extended grace because you are still here.

If we come to know this, we shall regain our power over the world and if we have this power over the world, we shall have the proper language to command whatever we need in this world and they will respond.
