All of the children at the orphanage are provided with s
chooling, shelter, food, counseling and a Christian upbringing. Some of the orphans have been fortunate enough to attend a university or further their education, and return to the orphanage to teach or provide medical services! The Outreach Ministry reaches out to the local community and provides Christian counseling, Bible Study and Worship services. CFFF Ministries was started by Reverend Mukwaya Martin. Martin is the second born child in a family of 4 children. When he was young his father was poisoned and he passed away. After his father's death he lived with, and was cared for, by his grandmother. She was a strong Christian and raised him in the church. Eventually Rev. Martin was able to attend a university and get his Bachelor's degree in Divinity. In his own words, "I thank God that all through my life, I have been supported by volunteers from the church, and that is why I peeked on the task of volunteering to care for orphans regardless of my financial status. Every time one of the children at the orphanage asks about their parents, Rev. Martin points them to Jesus "the Father for the fatherless" - hence how the orphanage got its name. CFFF Orphanage started out in a small building with 8 orphans. Today, the orphanage cares for 62 orphans. 18 of them live at the orphanage and the remaining 44 stay with Christians from the local church - still under the care of the orphanage. Our prayer is that someday all 62 orphans (and more!) will be able to stay together in one home.
