Jesus took your sin and shame, and He paid your debt in full. "He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west" (Psalm 103:12). We don't have to walk in guilt and condemnation.

Depression is not merely an emotional or mental state; it is a spiritual position. In this position, there are oracles from God you may never hear. When the soul is downcast, it tends to magnify troubles, drowning out God’s voice. This is why, like David, you must learn to speak yourself out of this state when you feel down.
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. ( Psalm 42:5 NIV )

Jesus can change the trajectory of your life. You can be weighed down by the guilt of sin one moment, and when Jesus touches you, everything changes! There's nothing that He cannot forgive and take you out of.

How can two walk together if they’re not in agreement?
We can’t be pulling against God all the time and expect Him to fight for us.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. (1 John 1:6)

You may be in a storm now. The negative voices are loud. But you’ve seen God’s faithfulness. You can sleep in the storm. You can trust in the trouble. You can rest when you could be worried. This can all happen when you understand Him & knw what is capable of fully in your life

Don’t allow yourself to think self-pitying thoughts. Think about how blessed you are, not how mistreated you are. Don’t think about what people don’t do for you; instead focus on what they do for you. Because there's the power of creation in meditation.
