THE RECKLESS LOVE OF GOD

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:3-5)

It was because of this love that God did not spare his only son ,Jesus christ, for our sake.

He ensured that Jesus was despised , tormented, betrayed, disappointed, embarrassed, etc, so that you never have to go through the same.

He was punished for your sake, and by his stripes, you were healed. Hallelujah

Dare to share this reckless love of God with someone today. It is our mandate, it is our commission.

GLORIOUS LIFE DEVOTIONAL

BE FULL OF THE WORD
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of [his] mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him. (Proverbs 12:14)

The Bible further says in Mathew 12:34 that "...for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."

This means the mouth will always speak from that which dwells in the man's heart.

From the opening verse, the fruit of the mouth are the words which the mouth speaks. The quality of the words/fruit of a man's mouth determines how much good that will be reflected in life of that man.

If you're full of the word of God, for example,each time you communicate or speak,the results you bring forth will be in line or consistent with the word of God in the inside of you! And the reverse is also true.

If you speak words of divine health,then your life will be filled/satisfied with health, likewise prosperity.
This is one of the reasons we encourage you to meditate in the word of God so that it gets rooted and grounded in your spirit.
The only way to be full of the word is by studying it

SPEAK IT LOUD
I study the word of God daily and keep thinking about it always. My mind is filled with thoughts of the mind of God therefore nothing is impossible unto me.

LET'S PRAY
Father, I thank you for your word that causes me to excel and prosper in everything I decide to do, in Jesus' name . Amen

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. (Matthew 7:17-18)

GLORIOUS LIFE DEVOTIONAL

THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby) that He may remain with you forever John 14:16(AMP).

Before the LORD left the earth, He told His disciples that He would send them another comforter one who was exactly like Him, and this comforter was the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not a force or power or wind but He is a Person, one that you can relate with, and the day you got born again, He came into your life to become your Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby. ,

From today choose to walk with this consciousness that you are not alone in anything that you engage in but you have a companion in the Person of the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you and because He walks with you, you cannot error or fail at anything for He is your counselor, you can never be weak in your body because he gives you strength.

When the world raises against you he is your advocate and you will surely be vindicated.

SPEAK IT LOUD & WALK BY IT
I am conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in life, and I receive His ministry in my life. I can not walk in error or darkness because I have the Holy Spirit in my life.

LET'S PRAY
Father, I thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to live in me, I yield myself to His counsel and direction.Amen

FURTHER STUDY
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. ( Romans 8:26)

Psalms 54:4(NIV) Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.

GLORIOUS LIFE DEVOTIONAL

AS HE IS SO ARE YOU IN THIS WORLD

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. (1 John 4:17)

As a christian /son of God, it is very important to know which image you have taken on since the day you received Jesus into your life. This is one of the most important truths to get ahold of for it will open you up to the life of victory and success that you received 24/7 all the days of your life

Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:49 says " And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven". He tells us that as sons of God, we have a new image of the man of heaven which we have taken on in Christ.
With this mind, in the opening verse Apostle John also comes out to tell us that we are like Jesus is, currently. Notice the tense used"As He is ". He doesn't say "As He was" or "As He will be". Again when apostle John uses the phrase "As He is" he is not speaking of the physical appearance but rather he is referring to the authority, power, glory which Jesus has right now; that you also have now in this world.
What an honor and privilege to have all the authority, power and glory that Jesus has! To God be the glory.

*SPEAK IT ALOUD & WALK BY IT*
As He is, so am I in this world. I am as glorified as He is . I am as powerful as He is. I am as able as He is. Whatever Jesus can do, I can do also .

LET'S PRAY
Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the privilege of being in the likeness of your son Jesus. I thank you for this blessing. I live in this blessing fully in Jesus' name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself]. (Ephesians 1:20-23 KJV)

And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). (Ephesians 2:6 KJV)

GLORIOUS LIFE DEVOTIONAL
PARTICIPATORS IN RECONCILIATION

And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

God counted us worthy of being participators in his work and entrusted us with this ministry of reconciliation. This work can only be done by us not angels not even God himself. He already did his part. A story of Saul should teach us something about this ministry. When Saul (Paul) had encountered the lord on his way to Damascus, the lord had to send him to Ananias to pray for him and also receive the Holy Ghost.(Acts 9). The lord could have done that himself but he had to send him to a man.

This same scenario with Cornelius, a religious man ( Acts 10).An angel had to tell him to send for Peter, the Apostle . It was Peter that prayed for him and his family to receive the lord. These two examples should let you know that you have some work to do. God will always send a man whenever he wants to save someone.

You must therefore go out and preach the gospel to everyone you know. This is the ministry God has entrusted to us with as believers.

SPEAK IT LOUD &WALK BY IT
I am a soul winner because the lord has entrusted me with this ministry of reconciliation.
I preach to everyone i encounter every day of my life.

LET'S PRAY
Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for counting us worthy to be participators in this work of reconciliation. We are forever grateful. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, [even] Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. ( Acts 9:17)

He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. And now send men to Joppa, and call for [one] Simon, whose surname is Peter: ( Acts 10:3-5)

GLORIOUS LIFE DEVOTIONAL

BEING FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (Ephesians 5:18-19)

For some one to live a drunken life, it means that they are continually drinking wine . otherwise, when the wine wears off, they will sober up.

Similarly, for one to be continually filled up or drunk with the Holy spirit, they got to continually fill themselves up with the Holy spirit. The infilling of the Holy Spirit is not a one time thing, it is continual.

And the word of God has given us away of how to continually get filled with the spirit; by speaking to our selves in psalms , hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our hearts unto the lord. Make this your daily habit before you start off your daily activities. Speak to yourself in songs that praise the lord, love on the lord, allow spiritual songs to well up in your heart and you will be full of the spirit each day of your life. Hallelujah!

SPEAK IT LOUD & WALK BY IT
Iam continually getting filled by the Holy spirit even as I speak to myself in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Everyday of my life, i sing and make melody in my heart unto the lord.

LET'S PRAY
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the gift of your holy spirit that you daily and continually fill me with. I dispense this blessing of your spirit everywhere I go. Amen

FURTHER STUDY
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31)
