THE SHIELDING POWER OF GOD

God has made His power available to all that believe on His Son Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. This power is not to be sought but it is residing on the inside of all born again Christians. This is the same power that raised Jesus from the grave. We just have to be aware of it in order to understand how to access it. Ephesians 3:20 (AMPC) Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]

Jesus Christ did not only give us some power that operates here on earth, no!. He granted us all powers in the highest heavens and earth by giving us the keys of the kingdom. Now that we have been translated into God's heavenly Kingdom, we have the ability to walk in the miraculous. Mark 16:18 (GNT) Believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name; they will speak in strange tongues; 18 if they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be harmed; they will place their hands on sick people, and these will get well.”

Even though God has granted all believers in Christ Jesus this power unfortunately many have failed to access it. Some believers are affected by diseases, poverty, depressed and living like the people of this world. This should not be so.

To access these heavenly powers in us we have to apply the principal of FAITH. It is the veneer that makes all things possible to them that believe. Matthew 17:20 (TLV) And He said to them, “Because you trust so little. Amen, I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Faith is the power of God what shields believers from the lies of the devil. The truth of God's Word is what we hold on in all circumstances without wavering through faith. Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

THE APPEARED GRACE

Mose in the Old Testament introduced the law hopping to turn man to God but it did the opposite. When Jesus Christ came, He came with grace and truth to open the heavenly way for humanity.
John 1:17 (AMPC) For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ. [Exod. 20:1.]

Jesus Christ had to appear to take way the sin of man through the grace of God because the law was weak and could not save humanity and give them eternal life.
Romans 8:3 (AMPC) For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], [Lev. 7:37.]

The grace that leads humanity to salvation has appeared to all people so that they should choose to escape the corruption of the sinful nature to that of the righteous one.
Titus 2:11-12 (AMPC) For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind. Titus 2:12 (KJV) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

The appeared Grace is the way to salvation without any person's good works. However bad or deep yours sins are, God is ready to wipe them away when you accept His sacrifice of sin on the cross.

You don't first need to be good in order to receive salvation, no!. God has brought grace that offers forgiveness to all willing to come to Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (AMPC) 8 For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; 9 For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]

WORD FROM GOD DEVOTION

THE WORK OF ENDURANCE

God always works things through His timing, this is the springboard of all beautiful and stable things.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (KJV) He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

When God sends you somewhere or to someone it does not mean there will not be great challenges. Through those challenges God is preparing and patterning your growth through endurance for His greater purpose.
James 1:2-4 (NLT) 2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.
3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

We have a generation that does not want to go through the process but wants the finished product.
Jesus had to humble Himself and endure the excruciating pain of the cross in order to introduce salvation to humanity. This was because it was His destiny, there was no way a round it.
Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We have an egocentric generation too big to humble themselves to do the will of God because of the carnal fears. Many people have missed out on their assignments, marriages, Jobs and ministries because they could not despise the shame of the vibes of people around them.

We were created for His purpose and not ours. Let's endure through whatever challenge and go through His process for growth in order to fulfill His purpose.

WE ARE NOT SHADOW BOXING

We are in the fight of life but this is beyond the demonic because Jesus conquered that one for us. He beat and whipped the devil and it's cohorts, then He disarmed them which made them powerless and helpless.
Colossians 2:15 (AMP) When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross.

Now that the devil and it's devils where beat hands down, God does not expect us to call on Him to expel demons for us. He left that authority to Christians knowing that all power in heaven and earth is given unto us and the devil and it's assistants downtrodden under our feet.
Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The biggest fight is the fight of "self". Apostle Paul emphasized the issue of presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice to God.
Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, we have to keep them in subjection to God through the Word of God. We have to discipline our bodies that it's natural response is only the way of the Word of God.
1Corinthians 9:26-27 (LHB) I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so I fight, not as one who beats the air: 27 But I keep control of my body, and bring it into subjection: so that, when I have preached to others, I myself should not by any means be lost.

WALKING BY FAITH

Faith is the ability to see the invisible and affirm it as real fact beyond the realm of human senses. It disregards all physical sight and walks by the unseen.
Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].

Faith upholds in the highest regard the fact that the spiritual world is more real than the physical one. Beyond this world there is a God from whom all things originated and to walk with Him the facade of faith is the gist of that reality.
Hebrews 11:6 (AMP) But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

The Word of God is the building blocks of our faith. As we let in the Word of God we begin to amass the faith in abundance to the overflow that is then reflected in our actions.
Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

To walk by faith is to disregard all other things as null and void and only the Word of God as Truth. By allowing the Word of God as the only guiding factor in all we do and believe, is the only true walk of faith.

THE MIND SHIFT

The mind is an arena where all sorts of ideas converge. We are responsible for what stays and what we expel from our minds.
Proverbs 4:23 (T4T) It is very important that you be careful about what you think, because what you think controls [MET] the things that you do.

What we decide to keep or stay in our minds forms the core of our pattern of living and being. We are what we think in our hearts.
Proveebs 23:7 (KJV) For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:.....

In order to have a mind shift we need to have a sift of the word of God. The word of God is a standard that sieves what we hear in order to determine what stays in our minds or what we kick out.

We hear all things by the Word of God as a saveillence system that forms a watchtower over our minds in order sort out the kind of thoughts that we deem necessary to keep. Because the Word of God is light we use to put out all manner of darkness.
Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The word of God is our light and so by it we expurge all dark thoughts to keep shinning the Light as our lifestyle.
John 1:4-5 (KJV) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

THIS WORLD HAS NO HOLD ON US

The world is a system that is against God's Word. It is a domain of darkness ruled by satan and it's cohorts.
2Corinthians 4:4 (NLT) Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Jesus Christ stripped the devil(god of this world) of all it's powers and authority. Now the devil is like a toothless lion roaring without power to harm believers.

Jesus Christ gave birth to us and now as the new creation we superior to the devil and all it's powers. God has made us more that conquerors and this world is no match to us.
1John 5:4-5 (KJV) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

We are reflecting God on the earthly realms advancing the kingdom of God in powerful triumphant victory reconciling the world to God through the gospel.
2Corinthians 5:20 (TPT) We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.”

YOU ARE GOD'S HANDWRITING

When God chose us through Christ He permanently engraved us on the palms of His hands where no one can sn**ch us.
Isaiah 49:16 (UDB) Note that I have written your names on the palms of my hands; I am always looking at the walls of your city.

We are God's handwriting, a letter read and known of all men, the irresistible proof of His existence. When people gaze upon us, God's glory is revealed to them by His Spirit to turn to the Lord from their dark paths.
2Corinthians 3:2-‬3 (MSG) You yourselves are all the endorsement we need. Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you. Christ himself wrote it—not with ink, but with God’s living Spirit; not chiseled into stone, but carved into human lives—and we publish it.

We are the inscription of God, which insinuates that we are the offspring of the Word of God. Our lifestyle, identity and DNA is the word of God made visible by His Spirit.
1Peter 1:23 (KJV) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

When the devil looks at you it only reads an inscription that says that touch not my special anointed one.
Psalm 105:15 (KJV) Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
