Women’s Fellowship | A Time in God’s Presence

Today, the women gathered for a beautiful time of fellowship and learning from God’s Word. Pastor Jacinta shared a powerful message on prayer and patience, drawing lessons from Hannah’s story.

The women were encouraged to remain steadfast in prayer, trust in God’s timing, and never give up, even when answers seem delayed. Just like Hannah, we are reminded to pour out our hearts to God and trust Him through every season.

Psalm 90:12 – “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Key Lessons
1. Understand the season you are in.
When you understand the season you are in, you gain wisdom to know what to do during that season.
2. Pray for wisdom.
We ought to ask God to teach us to number our days so that we may develop a heart of wisdom.
3. Grow and multiply.
God desires us to grow, mature, and multiply in the things He has entrusted to us.
How to Walk in Different Seasons
1. Walk in wisdom.
Obey the Word of God.
Learn when to speak and when to remain silent.
Not every thought needs to be expressed; wisdom helps us know when to speak.
2. Obey God and remain faithful.
Be obedient to God’s instructions.
Remain faithful in every season.
Understand and fulfil your responsibilities.

The Things That Limit Us from Growing

God desires every believer to grow spiritually and in their relationship with Him. Hebrews 5:12 challenges us not to remain spiritually immature.

Some things that can limit our growth include:

* Lack of knowledge – We grow through God’s Word.
* Fear – Fear can stop us from taking steps of faith.
* Wrong relationships – The people around us can influence our growth.
* Sin and disobedience – These can affect our relationship with God.

* Comfort and complacency – We should never become satisfied with where we are.
* Lack of discipline – Growth requires prayer, Bible study, worship, fasting, and obedience.
* Unforgiveness and bitterness – We must release past hurts.

* Wrong mindset – Our thinking needs to be renewed.
* Impatience – Growth takes time and perseverance.
