*RESPECT THE ANOINTING, AND THE ANOINTED*
*_“But David said to Abishai,“do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?”_ (I Samuel 26:9 NKJV)*
Beside age, King Saul was nothing better than David. Saul had nothing unusual that David didn’t have. In fact, when it comes to exploits in warfare; “… the women sang as they danced, and said:
*_“Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.”_ (I Samuel 18:7 NKJV).* Which means, David achieved more than King Saul. Yet, David never disrespected or planned a retaliation for all the evil that King Saul did to him.
Many Believers and Anointed Ministers of God have no respect for God’s anointing upon other people. A clear indication that they don’t respect or value God in their own lives. You can tell from the way they talk cheaply about other Believers and Ministers. They are so spiteful and cynical. *They don’t know that their tongues slay just as murderous swords do.* A lot of them are murderers of other Believers and Ministers. _David was wiser, and spiritually smarter, he said:_ *“do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?” (I Samuel 26:9 NKJV).*
👉 *Be careful. Watch your tongue and your fingers on the keypads.* If you know God so well you won’t be quick to attack anyone that God is with!
👉 *King Saul didn’t care about David and his Anointing.* _He behaved anyhow towards David, and he died anyhow!_ *Don’t end up like King Saul. Be prudent. Be spiritually smart like David.*
👉 _Respect the Anointing and the Anointed, if you have them around you. Be spiritually smart-like David!_
