"He helps those who are in trouble; he lifts those who are fallen."

- The world and its inhabitants are indeed fallen.
- A great hand to lift a fallen people is the hand of the Almighty God.

Have a blessed Sunday.

Listen to our cries of pain and heal us and the world, that is prostrating before Your seat of mercy as we pray through Christ our Lord, and Healer,. Amen.

Verse: Psalm 118:28

‘You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, and I will exalt You.’

- What a joy to be able to speak about God as ‘MY GOD!’
- Can you say with all your heart that He is your God?
- Let us open up our hearts again and receive Him anew, on a personal level.
- Then we will be able to really celebrate and rejoice in God our Saviour.

PRAYER: My Saviour Lord, once again I place my faith and my hope in You, my Lord, and my God. I open up my heart and life to receive You in all of Your glory and might. I celebrate the fact that You are MY God in the name of Jesus . Amen.

Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, ‘It is the Lord!’

- Sometimes we face situations and circumstances that we don’t understand.

- But through the darkness and over the waves, His voice will call to us.
- Then we will recognize that ‘IT IS THE LORD’ and we have nothing to fear.

PRAYER: Loving Lord, help me to be able to recognise Your presence, and see Your hand in my situation, even when doubts and fears try to overwhelm me. I realise that You are with me, to help me and to bring me through the night season in the name of Jesus . Amen.

Have a wonderful Wednesday

Here is your word to command this weekend:
Verse: Ecclesiastes 9:11

‘The race is not always won by the swiftest, the battle is not always won by the strongest.’

- Human strength and ability are not always a guarantee of success.
- We must never leave the Lord out of the equation of life.
- He tells us: Let the weak say, ‘I am strong!’
- He tells us: Let the poor say, ‘I am rich!

‘In ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and He WILL make straight your paths.’

- In everything we do, we should put God first.
- Every aspect of our lives should be guided by Him.
- When we put Him first, He Himself comes to make our paths straight.
- He is ready to level your paths and remove the obstacles in your way.

PRAYER: Merciful Lord, today I give You the place of priority in my daily life. I choose to submit myself to You and I ask that You would step into my life and make my paths straight in the name of Jesus . Amen.

Here is your Word to Command this Ash Wednesday.

VERSE: 2 Corinthians 6: 2

"Listen! This is the hour to receive God's favour; today is the day to be saved."

- This is a proclamation of the need for repentance.
- No matter who we may be, no matter how good we may think we are, because of our weakness, we have been guilty and need repentance.
- There is a sense of urgency about this call to repentance because we have no idea of when death will claim us.
- Many times we don't want to hear this!
- Repentance means turning away from sin and turning towards God.
- Lent is an excellent way to achieve true repentance.
- The acceptable time, the time of salvation.
- We do not know whether we will have another.
PRAYER: Have mercy on me Lord God for I have sinned and want to return to You. May every occasion during this favourable season remind me of Your loving heart and of Your wish to have me healthy again. Heal me of my waywardness and let Your call to repentance become more and more a conduit of Your EVERLASTING mercy, through Jesus Christ my merciful Saviour. Amen.

Have a fruitful Lenten season.

Here is your word to command this morning :
Verse: John 14:27

‘Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.’

- To be unsettled, rattled, and disturbed is not God’s plan for you.
- He comes to bring, and give you His peace.
- He reassures you that He offers you more than the world can ever give you.
- So let go of your troubled heart and do not be fearful.

PRAYER: My Peace Maker and Giver Lord , thank You for Your gift of peace. Thank you that I can exchange my troubled heart and my fear for Your peace and comfort. You know all things, and therefore I do not need to be anxious and fearful, because You are with me, and Your peace drives away my fear in the name of Jesus Christ . Amen.

Have a blessed Tuesday
