PULPIT PROPHECY -
1. THE NAME - BETHANY OF VICTORY CHURCH (BOVC)
Bethany in Hebrew means House of Affliction, House of Figs / Dates. It was the village where Jesus always found
rest - the house of Mary, Martha and Lazarus.
Spiritual meaning: God took a place of affliction and turned it into a house of friendship with God. And in Bethany
is where Lazarus was RAISED FROM THE DEAD - John 11. So Bethany is the place of resurrection. Our church
is a house where dead things rise again - businesses, marriages, health.
Of Victory: Not Bethany Victory alone, but OF Victory. We came FROM victory. We don't fight FOR victory, we
fight FROM victory. Colossians 2:15.
2. THE LOGO - CROSS + BIBLE + WAVES
- The Cross on top: Everything we do stands under the cross. The cross is higher than the Bible in the logo -
meaning the Word is powerful but the sacrifice that backs the Word is highest. 1 Cor 1:18.
- The Open Bible: Not closed. We are a Word church. Open means revelation, we don't hide the Word.
- The Green on the Bible: Green is life, growth, freshness. The Word is alive.
- The Waves / Water below Bible: This is our calling. The Bible is standing on water - this is John 5 Pool of
Bethesda. The Word stirs the water for healing.
The whole logo says: The Cross empowers the Living Word to stir the Healing Waters.
3. THE WHITE MOON / BOWL BELOW THE LOGO - This is the most prophetic
It is not a moon - spiritually it is 3 things in one:
a) A Pool / Bowl: That white U shape is the POOL OF HEALING - John 5. It is holding the logo. We are literally
standing inside the pool when we preach. Whoever enters BOVC enters the pool.
b) Open Arms / Victory Crown: It looks like arms lifted up receiving victory - like Paul's crown. It is also like a
womb - carrying people to birth.
c) The Blue Light behind it: Blue is heavenly, revelation, Holy Spirit. The light around the pool means the pool is
not natural water, it is lit by the Spirit. The healing is supernatural, not medical.
When we stand on pulpit, we stand in the centre of that bowl - meaning we are the steward of the pool.
4. SIDE BOARDS - "A POOL OF HEALING" WITH PEOPLE LIFTING HANDS
- People lifting hands: In both side posters we see silhouettes with hands up. This is surrender and worship, but
also people inside the water. John 5 - the impotent man waited for the troubling of water. Our members are
those waiting, and God is troubling the water through worship.
- Writings "A Pool of Healing - John 5": We have anchored our entire identity to one scripture. John 5 Pool had 5
porches - meaning grace. Anyone who falls in that pool is healed regardless of how long they suffered - 38
years.
Prophetic Act: Our side boards are like the 5 porches of Bethesda - people sit under the Word waiting for their
season to be healed.
5. CEILING AND LIGHTING
- White Ceiling Tiles with Spot Lights: Ceiling is low and lights are many and close. Spiritually this is Divine
Focus and Intimacy. God is not far. The glory is not high up where we cannot touch it. The light is near to the
people. The many lights mean everyone is illuminated, not just the pastor. Ephesians 1:18.
- 4 Lights we see: 4 is number of earth, covering. God is lighting the four corners of our ministry.
Black Wall: Black absorbs light, meaning all attention is forced to the white pool and logo. Spiritually - the world
behind is dark, but in Christ there is light. Isaiah 60:2.
6. MISSION STATEMENT AT THE TOP - Red Banner
Mission: Hell For The Devil And Its Angels - We Are The Hell Emptier
- Red Colour: Red is blood, war, sacrifice. Our mission is not written in blue or green but in RED - meaning it will
take blood, warfare and sacrifice to empty hell.
- Topmost: It is above everything. Our name is below, but mission is above. Meaning mission is higher than
name. We exist for souls.
- "Hell Emptier": This is aggressive evangelism. We are not just a church that gathers, we are a church that raids
hell. Every Sunday service is a raid. Devil fights us because we empty his territory.
7. OTHER PROPHETIC SYMBOLS
- B O V C Spaced Letters: Branches will be spread apart - not one place church, we will be scattered to cover
territory. Bold white on black - visible in darkness.
- White Pulpit with logo: Pastor carries same DNA as church. White = purity of altar.
BETHANY OF VICTORY - Bethany of Victory Church
WHY BETHANY IS DIFFERENT
1. Bethany Means Affliction Turned To Victory
It was a poor, small village. But Jesus chose the poor place to show
His greatest miracles. God still chooses Bethany today - small places
to show great victory!
2. Bethany Was Jesus' Second Home
Jesus did not sleep in Jerusalem - He slept in Bethany. Matthew 21:17
- "And He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and He lodged
there." While Jerusalem rejected Him, Bethany received Him. Bethany is
a place of hospitality and rest for Jesus. Your church is a resting
place for God's presence
3. Bethany Is The Place Of Intimacy
Only in Bethany you find:
- Mary sitting at His feet to listen (Luke 10:39)
Mary pouring expensive oil on His feet (John 12:3) - The anointing
for burial happened only in Bethany
- Martha serving with joy
No other village had such intimate worship. Bethany is a worshipper's
village.
4. Bethany Is The Place Of The Greatest Miracle
Everywhere else Jesus healed the sick. But only in Bethany He raised a
man who was 4 days dead and already stinking (John 11:39-44). Bethany
is where impossibility becomes victory. That is why your theme
Honoring The Source is perfect - Lazarus came back to give thanks!
5. Bethany Is The Place Of Ascension And Blessing
Jesus did not ascend from Jerusalem or the Temple. He ascended from
Bethany - Luke 24:50-51. The last place His feet touched on earth was
Bethany, and His last action was blessing His people. Bethany is a
place of final blessing and sending.
6. Bethany Is On The Mount Of Olives - The Mount Of Anointing
Olive = oil = anointing. Bethany sits on oil. Psalm 133:2 that you put
on your poster - "It is like precious oil poured on the head, running
down on the beard ... " - that oil flows from Bethany! It is a place of
fresh impartation.
So Bethany Is Different Because:
Jerusalem = Religion and rejection
- Galilee = Ministry and crowds
But Bethany = Friendship, Rest, Worship, Resurrection, and
Blessing
That is why Rivers Return to Bethany - to give thanks. People who were
blessed elsewhere must come back to the source.
What our Church name mean: “Bethany of victory Church”
