THE GLORY OF ACCESS: BY HIS SPIRIT

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 (KJV): “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

There is a realm in God where the Spirit unveils dimensions no human ear has ever heard, no eye has ever seen, and no heart has ever conceived. This reality is not merely a promise of the future; it is the present inheritance of the believer in Christ.

Paul unveils a profound truth when he declares, “God has revealed them to us by His Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:10). This means that the mysteries once hidden in eternity are no longer concealed from us; rather, they are hidden for us, waiting to be accessed by those who yield to the Spirit.

Many great men—Moses, Abraham, Isaiah, Jacob—walked in realms of extraordinary encounters with God. Yet Scripture challenges us to embrace something even greater: that God still has more, and that this “more” is revealed as we yield ourselves to His Spirit.

It is possible to walk in such depth of revelation and glory that your life becomes a marker in history—a reference point Heaven itself cannot ignore. The question is, how surrendered are you to the Spirit of God? How sensitive are you to his convictions? How broken are you in His presence?

God desires to usher you into dimensions that have never been seen, and never been fully walked in by any man before. David tasted it. Abraham saw shadows of it. Isaiah prophesied it. But the door to the fullness is opened to you in Christ if only you learn to build and cultivate a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 4:18; Haggai 2:9

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. You open my spirit to greater realms of access. I walk in the glory that eye has not seen, ear has not heard, and no heart has conceived. By Your Spirit, You reveal to me the hidden things of the Kingdom. My life is a testimony of dimensions only Heaven can author. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

FIRST GOD, THEN MEN

Genesis 32:28 (KJV): “And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.”

In our theme scripture, Jacob is told that he had power with God and with men, and that he had prevailed. Within this statement lies a profound truth revealed by the deliberate order of the words: God first, then men.

This means that no one can truly move the hearts of men unless they have first moved the heart of God. Any believer who walks the Christian life in a powerful, impactful, and notable way has first cultivated intimacy with God before influencing men. Spiritual authority before men is the product of spiritual alignment with God.

This same divine pattern is repeated throughout Scripture.

In Luke 2:52, the Bible records that Jesus grew in favour with God and man. Jesus’ public impact was the overflow of His private devotion.

This truth is also reflected in the life of Samuel. 1 Samuel 2:26 tells us that the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favour with the Lord and with men.

God extends the same promise to us in Proverbs 3:4, assuring us that we will find favour and good success in the sight of God and man.

Beloved, the order must never be reversed. When God comes first, men follow. The call is clear: prioritise God, and men will respond to the grace upon your life.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 6:33, James 4:8

PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for this invitation into intimacy with You. I choose to seek Your heart above the approval of men. You order my priorities, that I may walk pleasing before You. My life is a vessel of divine favour. I receive grace to dwell in the secret place and from that place, to influence my world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

THE CONSECRATIONS OF THE HEART

Deuteronomy 8:2 (KJV): “And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.”

While in the wilderness, the children of Israel lived under a remarkable manifestation of God’s glory. Scripture tells us that their clothes did not wear out, neither did their shoes grow old. Manna was provided daily, they did not need to dig, toil, or labor for it. What a glorious experience it was!
Yet, our theme scripture reveals that despite all these supernatural provisions, God was testing their hearts. This truth carries a profound lesson for us as children of God.

The Lord can do great things in your life that bring a sense of security and comfort. He can bless you abundantly, surrounding you with ease, stability, and provision and yet, all of this can be a test.

What is the test? It is the test of complacency, to see whether you will continue to hunger for more because God can do beyond what you currently experience.

This is therefore a call to self-examination. If God has blessed you with a loving family, a growing ministry and a successful career, have these blessings made you comfortable? Have you settled, unaware that God desires to take you further? God is inviting you out of comfort into higher levels of glory, greater responsibility, deeper consecration, and increased demonstration of His power through your life. Do not be falsely lulled by the blessings around you. They are a test of the heart.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 26:2, 2 Corinthians 13:5

GOLDEN NUGGET: God is inviting you out of comfort into higher levels of glory, greater responsibility, deeper consecration, and increased demonstration of His power through your life. Do not be falsely lulled by the blessings around you. They are a test of the heart.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness and for the many blessings You have poured into my life. Search my heart and deal with all those places I have settled for the permissible will. May I never grow comfortable when You are inviting me to greater things. Stir within me a deeper desire for more of Your glory. I yield my heart fully to You, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

A KINGLY BREED

Daniel 1:3 (KJV): “And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;”

When Daniel and his companions were taken into Babylon, the instruction was precise: “Get me certain of the children of Israel who are of the king’s seed.” This in many ways shows us how the world works. The laws of this world favour men and women with a kingly grace and who have a kingly attitude toward life.

God, in His wisdom, understood that His children needed this in order to thrive in the world of men. Therefore, in Revelation, the Bible declares that He made us kings and priests unto the Most High God (Revelation 1:6).

The scripture goes on further to say that we are a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). By this, God designed us to function with authority. These truths speak clearly to the necessity of the kingly anointing for effective dominion in the world.

The world is constantly searching for kings and kingmakers, men and women who can influence systems and shape culture. This is why a kingly attitude must saturate everything you do.

Go to work like a king or a queen. Approach situations with authority. Embrace challenges like a king would, unafraid and confident in the fact that you have enough resources at your disposal. You were anointed to reign. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: The world is constantly searching for kings and kingmakers, men and women who can influence systems and shape culture. This is why a kingly attitude must saturate everything you do

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for the grace of dominion in this world. Thank You because I have been called to such a great glory. I receive and walk in the consciousness of the kingly anointing upon my life. My life demonstrates authority, excellence, and influence wherever You have placed me. I reign in life through Christ Jesus and fulfill Your purposes in my generation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

You can have assurance of salvation and then you can have false assurance of salvation. The big difference between the two is who's works your faith is in. Let your assurance and your faith be in Christ alone.

07/10/2023

Salvation in Christ means instantaneous justification and lifelong sanctification.

07/10/2023

Christ did not die to "cover" your sins like the old covenant sacrifices did once a year. No, He took away all your sins forever!

Nothing you are facing today that is stronger than the only true and living God. Hallelujah 🙌
