Spirit and Life Weekly Devotional Sat 27th September 2025 The Ministry of Angels: God’s Messengers of Protection and Service

Angels are God’s heavenly messengers, created to serve Him and to minister to His children. Throughout Scripture, we see angels bringing divine messages, offering protection, executing God’s will, and strengthening believers in times of weakness.
Their ministry reminds us of God’s loving care—that He has assigned heavenly beings to watch over us, protect us from unseen dangers, and assist us in fulfilling His purposes.

Prayer
Father, thank You for the gift of angelic ministry. I am grateful that You command Your angels concerning me. Just as You sent angels to Lot, Hagar, Jacob, Daniel, Elijah, Peter, and even Jesus, I believe You send them to help me in times of need. Teach me to walk in faith and obedience so I may fully experience their protection and help. May Your angels guard my steps, fight my battles, and strengthen me for every assignment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
