Here’s our sermon from Sunday 11th January ’26.

The message is titled: “The Incarnate King; He comes near”, taken from John 1:1-18 brought to us by Patrick Byekwaso. This is the part 2 of the : Knowing the King.

We are reminded not to admire Christ from a distance, but to receive Him, trust Him, and live under His loving reign in all aspects of our lives.

We invite you tomorrow as we continue our January sermon series, Knowing the King.

We begin 2026 with a : KNOWING THE KING 👑

This past Sunday (4 Jan), we launched Part 1 of 4 with the message “The Supreme King: He Alone Is Worthy” from 📖 Colossians 1:15–23. Pr. Patrick Byekwaso reminded us of a truth our generation urgently needs to hear: Jesus Christ reigns supreme over all things, and He alone deserves our full and undivided allegiance.

This series calls us to realign our hearts, our loyalties, and our lives around Christ the King.

"Both Simeon and Anna embody a hope that is patient, faithful, and confident in God’s timing. Their hope was not vague optimism or wishful thinking; It was confident trust in a faithful God who keeps His promises in His perfect time."

Imagine holding onto a promise for years – waiting patiently, with unwavering faith, for a moment God has assured you will come. A moment of comfort, consolation and redemption. Simeon was su…

"When most of us consider worship, we think about singing a slow tune with raised hands and tears streaming down our faces. We think it is the emotions and the feelings. We rarely consider worship as serving with all our being and even the gifts we have from our good God."

Christmas is a season of lots of movement and celebration. Streets are bust with eager shoppers, busses and roads are full with people traveling to unit with family and friends, Christmas music fil…

"Faith that encounters Jesus but refuses to speak loses its witness. Faith that delays loses its urgency. But faith that responds immediately, joyfully, and publicly brings glory to God and amazement to the world."

There are moments in life when silence is simply impossible. I remember one such moment vividly. It was a beautiful Tuesday morning, and as usual, we had gone for a routine antenatal checkup. But t…

_"...Joseph, even without fully understanding what God was doing, chose obedience. He chose obedience to God over conformity to cultural expectations and over his own comfort, reputation and security. At great personal cost, Joseph trusted God’s word delivered through the angel and took Mary as his wife."

Obedience is hard. Fact.  Try telling a six-year-old and a four-year-old to do what is good for them, and every two minutes, you must repeat the same thing. Surprisingly, they have an explanat…

How will you respond to Christ this Christmas? 🎄

Same Christ. One manger. Many responses.
Join us on an Advent journey as we reflect on the varied responses to Jesus’ birth and examine our own hearts.

Christmas is one of the most widely celebrated seasons in the world, even in countries that are openly hostile to the gospel. In Uganda, the season comes alive with color and sound. Decorations bri…
