Dear family.
The people of Isreal were the convenanted people of God like the Church is today. God promised them a Messiah whom they waited for in the Old testament for thousand of years.
However when He arrived they did not recognize Him and while He lived among them they rejected Him (John 1:11-12.) This rejection is happening even in the Church today.
There were so many other teachers Pharisees and Rabbis during Jesus' time but what makes Jesus different is because He died like others but came back to life and is still alive today.
His blood washed away our sins and His Cross swallowed up our death, now we have life everlasting, even when we die we shall live - John 11:25.
