Greetings friends, I have some good and bad news... Our church Global Prayer Altar in Kiwenda-Gayaza was attacked at night during a night of prayer that we do every last Friday of the month .
Some young men with pangas and big sticks rounded off our church at around 2:10am as I was preaching, they entered the church, while other men stayed outside guarding. They beat up many people and wounded some of them. They stole their phones, cash money and other valuables. All the phones of my wife and I were also stolen. We have reported the case to Busukuma police station and the case is being followed up.
The good news is that we are still alive, though some people are still traumatised. No one is dead, we are still saying Jesus is Lord. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Keep praying for us and the church...Yours, Pastor David Mijjumbi.
