"BE HUMBLE IN YOUR HEART"

*Rather let it be the hidden person of the Heart, with incorruptible beauty of the gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God (1 Peter 3:4)*.

Humility is the attitude of being low in heart, submitting to one another from the heart in the fear of God. Humility is an activity of the Spirit. It cannot be judged from the outside because it is a character of the heart. (Psalms 138:6). No matter how highly gifted you are, when it’s mixed with pride, it’s not acceptable to God. Your desire should be that whatever you offer to the Lord in ministry and in your service to Him be accepted, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Everything you do in the house of God is an offering to Him; your service is a sacrifice to God. But God won’t accept your sacrifice if it’s mixed with selfishness and greed; pomposity, pride, and arrogance. Greatness in the house of God isn’t measured by some results that you have achieved or attained. Take an example of Moses; one man with the greatest revelation of the Word of God. In *Number 12:3* the Bible says that *”Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth."*

Correct and guide yourself with the scriptures, with the wisdom of God at all times. Keep walking in humility, for it’s a great blessing and the pathway to promotion with God. When you cultivate such a lifestyle, God will exalt you. Remember meekness precedes greatness, but pride is before destruction.

1 Peter 5:5-6 Says...Likewise, you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

WORDS CARRY POWER.

(Proverbs 6:2) Says...You are snared by the words of your mouth, you are taken by the words of your mouth

In "2 Corinthians 4:18," the Bible says, …the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”* Therefore, that situation you are seeing is temporal, you can change it by speaking what you want it to be.

(James 1:17 )says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Sickness does not come from God, therefore do not possess it. What you possess is the life of God and the Holy Ghost. Possess only those things that the heavenly Father has given unto you. Glory to God!

The Bible goes on to say in (Mark 11:23) For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Hebrews 4:12 Says.. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

THE REMEDY TO FEAR

Proverbs 1: 33 Says...But whoever listens to me will dwell safely and will be secure, without fear of evil

Are the circumstances in the world today making you lose peace? Are you afraid? Listen carefully to the voice of God. The primary voice of God is the Word. The more you feed your mind on the Word of God, the more sensitive you become to His voice.

The Bible says in "Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God…" But sometimes people choose to disregard even such explicit promises from God. In Acts 27:10, while Paul and others were on a voyage, God sent guidance through the Holy Spirit. Paul issued an alert: “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss…” But this alert was ignored. Later when you continue reading the story, the voyage ended in the wreckage, everyone was saved only because Paul was part of the voyagers.

As a child of God, you should not only be alert to the leading of the Holy Spirit but also respond instantly. That demonstrates that you are trusting in the Lord with all your heart and leaning not on your understanding (Proverbs 3:5). As you do this, fear leaves and calamity is avoided as God instructs you at every turn of life. Glory to God.

Proverbs 3:25 says ..Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes.

Ephesians 6:16 saysa...Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

I refuse to be intimidated in this life, for I am strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Fear has lost its power over me, for greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. The Word of God has taken full possession and expression in, and through my spirit, my soul and my body. Blessed be God!

"YOU ARE SUPERIOR TO SATAN- I"

Colossians 1:12-13 says . . Giving thanks unto the Father, …Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

When you got born again, you got delivered from the power of Satan and translated into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. God will not deliver you any more than He has already done. You don’t need deliverance from Satan. Because of the new birth, you have been made superior to Satan and therefore not subject to him and his demons.

It’s wrong for any child of God to continually seek for deliverance, moving from one deliverance session to the other. Such folks will never be delivered because they are busy looking for something that is already theirs. It is possible for new converts who, because of ignorance of the Word, could be oppressed by Satan. All they need in this case is the knowledge of God’s Word on how to exercise their authority in Christ and say “No” to Satan’s manipulations.

God couldn’t have made a new creation that’s subject to the devil. It’s not possible. Rather He made us superior to the cohorts of darkness, giving us power and authority to cast them out (Luke 10:19). It’s only a person that’s ignorant of the Word of God that goes about seeking to be delivered from satanic bo***ge. Get to know the Word and apply it to every area of your life and you will always operate from the stand-point of victory.

1 John 4:4 Says...You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Luke 10:19 Says...Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

I thank You Lord for the power in the Name of Jesus and for Your Word by which I live. In Your Word, I find safety and strength; and by it, I have authority over all principalities and powers, thrones and dominions, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come. BELIEVE AND OBEY.

Genesis 19:26 Says....But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

In (Genesis 19), we read the fate that befell Lot's wife for failure to heed spiritual instructions. The Angels, sent by the Lord to destroy the city of S***m had warned her and her husband saying, "...escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. (Genesis 19:17).

The instruction was urgent and clear. Unfortunately, Lot's wife didn't heed the warning; she looked back, and consequently became a pillar of salt. There are many other stories in the Bible with similar consequences. Prophet Jonah disobeying God ended up in a belly of a fish (Jonah 1), King Saul who lost his kingdom (1 Samuel 15).

God is still in the business of saving His children today. Often times, this comes through divine instructions, either by the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God as you study or a word from the altar of God. How do you respond? Are you the kind who obeys and regrets later? Or the kind who drag their feet to obey? Even if God’s instructions may not be attractive at the time, His guidance can always be trusted because He is the “spirit of truth’, guiding you into all the truth (John 16:13). God wants His children to stay within the perimeter of His instruction because He knows the end of everything.

Hebrews 2:1-3 says ..Therefore, we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.

I yield myself to the ministry of Your Word; I grow in Your grace and in Your wisdom. I thank You for Your divine power that's at work in me causing me to do things according to Your good pleasure. As I do this, I grow in godliness, expanding Your kingdom here, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS

Acts 4:12 Says ..Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

As a child of God, the Name of Jesus, just like the Word has been given to you to live by. You have the legal right and power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus. (Philippians 2:10 )says "…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth…" The Name of Jesus represents authority. Every time we exercise our right to use that Name, we gain victory.

The account of the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple called Beautiful is an example revealing the power in the Name of Jesus. Peter had received the revelation that he had the right to use that Name. Hence, he said to the lame man, (Acts 3:4-7), ".......Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength." Crippled bones heard the name of Jesus and bowed!

When you consistently exercise your authority in that Name, your life will be full of miracles and testimonies. You can change any hopeless situation with the Name of Jesus Christ. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

The Name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and is safe. Therefore, I can't be helpless nor distressed about anything. I have the right to use the Name of Jesus, and that Name is greater and more powerful than any situation I may face! The Name of Jesus is my security today and every day. Hallelujah!

YOU CARRY THE GLORY OF GOD.

Psalm 50:2 Says..Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

There’s something about your life. You carry the glory of God everywhere you go, and that beauty brings pleasantness, favour, promotion and increase to your life. Always be mindful that you are dressed with the ornament of God’s beauty; drenched in the rains of the Spirit. He sent the prophet Isaiah to tell the children of Israel that He would give them beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3) ornaments of beauty.

Instead of allowing circumstances to cause you to question the presence of God in your life, learn to see God’s beauty at all times. Thank Him for your beautiful life. Never allow circumstances change who you really are. You’re God’s beauty, His icon, His express image, and the outshining of His glory. You radiate His splendor. Hallelujah!

I am the manifestation of God’s glory, His icon, express image, and the outshining of His splendour! I exude the excellence and perfections of divinity, and my life is the testimony of God’s wisdom and grace. I am above the elements of this life, because greater is He who is in Me. Hallelujah!

PRAYER OF INTERCESSION.

(Job 9:33) Says ....Nor is there any mediator between us, who may lay his hand on us both.

If most were asked what their prayer request has been since the beginning of the year, chances are high that for many the prayer requests will be centered on ‘I’, ‘me’, ‘my’. Rarely do men pray on behalf of others. And yet that’s a ministry divinely appointed for everyone. (James 5:16)instructs the believers to "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another…"

Intercession means concentrating the influence of God’s power toward others for their good. God was serious about this statement: "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one (Ezekiel 22:30)". How do we know? Because, earlier in the book of (Genesis 18:22-33) we encounter Abraham beseeching God not to destroy S***m and Gomorrah, specifically interceding for his nephew Lot and God conceded. A man changed God’s mind! And so did Moses in (Exodus 32:7-14).

Is there someone you know who needs God’s intervention? Probably they have been sick for a long time, probably they need the gift of salvation, or is it your country, your church in need? Whatever the case, respond to the call of intercession. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is waiting to join you, making intercessions on your behalf to the glory of God.

Psalm 106:23 Says...Therefore, He said that He would destroy them, Had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach, To turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them.

Romans 8:26 Says..Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered

With the Spirit of God ever on my side, the treasure in this earthen vessel, I delve deeper in intercession for my brethren, my church, my country, the world. I know that positive results are always guaranteed because God’s promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. I partner with the Holy Spirit to expand the righteousness of God here on earth.

REFUSE TO COMPLAIN

Philippians 4:6 Says..Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

In the Gospel of John, a story is told of a man that Jesus encountered at the pool of Bethesda. He had suffered a paralytic condition for thirty-eight long years. Though Jesus knew the man had been sick for so long, He still asked him, “Do you want to get well?” The man didn’t answer the question, but got defensive and started blaming and complaining (John 5:6-7). He didn’t ask Jesus for help either; he ignored the important question. He got healed only by the grace of God.

That’s the way some folks are; they complain to God about their problems, blaming others and society for the challenges they are going through, instead of acting on the Word of God. Our opening scripture is very clear on what to do once anxiety or challenges set in. It doesn’t say go tell your friends or post on social media. No. It says reach out to God in prayer and thanksgiving.

Therefore, when you face challenges, stand your ground in faith. Keep declaring the Word, knowing that greater is He that’s in you, than he that’s in the world. Refuse to be discouraged by the enormity of the problem. Remember, the greater the trouble, the greater the glory that will be manifested. This is the truth. Never forget that you are greater than the challenges you face

Romans 8:35-37 Says..“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword...Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

Psalm 34:4 says..I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

I am a child of the most high God; I did not receive the spirit of bo***ge again to fear but the spirit of adoption by whom I cry Abba Father. I am indelibly printed on the palm of my Father. No condition can make me lose peace, I rest in the blessed assurance that all is well in Jesus' Name. Amen
