THE CORNET DAILY DEVOTIONAL

GINOSKO

Tuesday 6th October, 2026

“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” (Ephesians 3:19 KJV)

When the Scripture speaks of knowing the love of Christ, He is not talking about ordinary knowledge. The first word “know” is taken from the Greek “ginosko” which means revelatory knowledge while the word knowledge is taken from “gnosis” which means the knowledge that comes from studying. You should know by revelation the love of Christ which passes all the knowledge that comes from studying.

If you go to theology school, you will study and get knowledge (gnosis), but not ginosko (revelatory knowledge). The love of Christ passes knowledge (gnosis). It takes revelation to fully comprehend the love of Christ. How do you explain that Saul who was persecuting the church and killing believers turned out to be the apostle that God used mightily? That’s the love of Christ which passes knowledge.

One time Paul wrote and said he had offended no man. He had this confidence because he had understood the love of Christ by revelation. Understanding the love of Christ by revelation will help you to fully enjoy the life of God and also relate with other children of God and the world. Praise the Lord!

CONFESSION
I am loved by God not because of anything I have ever done but because of who He is. The love of God is revealed and communicated to me by the Holy Spirit who dwells in me. Nothing shall separate me from the love of God. I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. Blessed be God forever!

THE FULLNESS OF GOD

Monday 5th October, 2026

“And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:19 KJ2000)

Is it possible that a child of God could actually be filled with all the fullness of God? Yes! You can be filled with all the totality of God. The Greek word translated “fullness” is “pleroma” which means to be filled to the overflow. You can be so full of God that you overflow.

This was the experience of Jesus Christ when He was on earth. When demons saw Him walking by, they began to cry before He could say a word. When the sick came around Him, they were healed (Luke 6:17-19).

Our theme Scripture lets us know that when you know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, you will be filled with all the fullness of God. So much so that if you are ministering to a sick person, they can receive their healing by looking into your eyes. The sickness will have enough intelligence to see the God in you and flee. If the person is possessed by a demon, it will flee. Glory to God!

CONFESSION
I have great understanding and revelation of the love of God that passes all knowledge. I am filled with all the fullness of God. When the sick come around me, they receive their healing by the power of the Spirit. Praise the Lord!

Luke 6:17-19 ISV
Then Jesus came down with them and stood on a level place, along with many of his disciples and a large gathering of people from all over Judea, Jerusalem, and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon. (18) They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Even those who were being tormented by unclean spirits were being healed. (19) The entire crowd was trying to touch him, because power was coming out from him and healing all of them.

MANIFEST GOOD FRUIT

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:6-8 KJV)

Jesus didn’t die for us because we were good, He knew we were sinners and He still chose to die. This is the proof of God’s love towards us. God demonstrated His love for you at your worst state, when you were still dead in sin. How can He possibly hate you now because of what you did yesterday?

Does this mean you are free to do the wrong things since God loves you anyway? “God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer in it?” (Romans 6:2 KJ2000) Now that you are born again, you are no longer ungodly, you are godly. You may still be growing up into producing godly fruit, but you are godly. The grace of God is present to train you to live righteously, soberly and godly in this present world (Titus 2:11-12).

If someone plants a mango tree and the fruits delay to come, it doesn’t mean it’s not a mango tree. With the right care, it will produce mango fruits in due time. Similarly, it may seem to take long for the fruit of righteousness to manifest in a child of God but that doesn’t make him less Christian. When he gives attention to meditating on the Word of God, praying and being filled with the Spirit, he will certainly manifest the fruit of righteousness. Praise the Lord!

CONFESSION
Jesus loved me and washed me from my sins in His own blood. I am patterned after Christ in righteousness and true holiness. I have the nature of God in me. I live righteously, soberly and godly in this present world, by the grace of God. I am sincere and without offence. I am zealous for good works. My life is filled with the fruits of righteousness to the glory and praise of God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; (10) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; (11) Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: (22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; (23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; (24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

GOD LOVES YOU

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 KJV)

You need to live with the assurance that God loves you. Having this assurance will enable you live a life of victory. When you pray with the understanding that God loves you, you receive the answers to your prayers. Some people believe that they should ask for forgiveness for all the sins they have committed before they can pray to God, this reveals that they are not certain of His love.

God doesn't ask you to confess all your sins in order to be saved. He asks you to confess the Lordship of Jesus over your life. When you confess that Jesus is Lord, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you are saved. You are washed from your sins and the righteousness of God is stamped in your spirit.

Can you talk to God about an area that is bothering you? Certainly! 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (KJV) When you talk to God, you receive strength to turn away from the wrong thing and move in the right direction. Praise the Lord!

CONFESSION
Blessed be God who has loved me with an everlasting love. God’s love for me is unconditional. God hears me when I pray and He answers me. I am washed, sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God. I am the righteousness of God now. I am dead to sin and alive to God. Sin has no dominion over me, for I am under grace.
