Understanding the roles of men and women in the home and church is not a matter of talent, culture, education, or personal worth. Every believer possesses equal dignity and salvation in Christ.

Rather, these roles reflect God's wise design established at creation. It is about honoring biblical authority, maintaining godly order, and walking in humble, joyful obedience to His Word.

Who we are as male and female is ultimately not about us—it is about God’s sovereign authority and design.

In Scripture, God explains some commands (like honoring parents to live long), but gives zero explanation for others, like specific roles for men and women in the church and home.

Human logic demands fairness and answers, but as Jeremiah warns, we have no right to interrogate the audacity to question the Almighty. God’s commands are not given to satisfy human curiosity; they are a test of our surrender.

Obeying God when you don’t understand His "why" is the highest form of worship, far greater than any sacrifice.

Who we are as male and female isn’t about self-expression—it’s about revealing Jesus to the world. Men uniquely reflect Christ’s love for the Church, while women uniquely reflect the Church’s trust in Christ. We don’t get to dictate what manhood and womanhood are all about, because our Creator already defined them to make His Gospel visible to everyone around us. When we embrace His design, our lives become a living testimony to the story of Jesus.

In 1 Corinthians 12, the Apostle Paul uses the human body to show us how the church functions under Christ's Lordship. Though we are many diverse individuals, we form one unified body that represents Jesus and displays His image to the world. A hand severed from the body cannot function on its own, and a Christian cannot thrive disconnected from a local church. Belonging to a local church isn't about an event you visit—it's about being known, accountable, and actively serving as an essential part of Christ's body.
