THANK GOD FOR EVERYTHING

When God was taking the Israelites into the promised land, he knew that once they become successful and have everything they need, they will be tempted to become proud and ungrateful so He reminds them they will become successful because He gives them power to make wealth and not because of their righteousness or hardwork(Deuteronomy 8:18). Beloved, you must recognise that you cannot accomplish anything without the breath and strength of God. James 1:17 says that every good and perfect gift comes from God. So recognise that every good thing you have is a blessing from God and give Him thanks for it.

BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

When God told Abraham, “I will bless you and you will be a blessing(Genesis 12:2), what it means is that if you’re not going to be a blessing, you’re not going to be blessed. The two are tied together. Jesus said in Luke 6:38, Give, and it will be given to you. If you’re not giving away what God has given you, that blessing is not going to continue to flow to you. If you Help someone in need, then help will keep coming back to you. When you’re always lifting people up, encouraging them, making them better, then blessings are always going to come to you. Be a blessing to others by giving away what God has given you, and you will continue to be blessed.

PUT YOUR FAITH IN ACTION

The evidence of our faith in God is found in our actions, because James 2:17 says 'Faith without works is dead. That means when we really believe something, our actions will support what we believe. Because Abraham believed God, he obeyed His word and left his father’s land even when he didn’t know where he was going. In the same way, when we believe God, we have to leave some things behind in order to embrace the new life He has for us. As you let go of the old ways of living, and by faith, embrace God’s promises, like Abraham, He will lead you to paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Keep believing and step out in faith knowing that your best days are ahead of you.
