Acts 6:8
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
Praise the Lord saints,
Today's portion above opens our eyes to the reason why Stephen was able to walk in miracles and wonders.

Miracles happen in the atmosphere of Faith and power.
No ordinary person who has not faith walks in miracles.

Brethren we have faith through our Lord Jesus and we ought to exercise it through the word.

Inorder for us to walk in the miraculous, we need to exercise and grow in our faith which in turn awakens the power that is resident in us.(Ephesians 3.20)

John 15:3 kjv
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
The word of God is life,light and water. The Lords declaration of these disciples of clean less was not based on their effort. It was totally about the word which had been spoken unto them. Our cleansing is not about being conscious of sin every time and then telling God about it. Its about getting his word in our spirit which automatically cleanses us.

Let's mark the words Jesus uses, he says the cleansing was not about to happen but then when the word had come unto them. The cleansing in this case is not only from sin but also from disease, oppression and poverty. Its impossible for the child of God to receive the word and remain the same because the word has changing power in himself.

The word is able to build us and we inherit the God given substance by him. Any one that thinks that they are Christian and they dessert fellowship with the word, are headed for a fruitless life.

Awesome father, we thank you for your word that abides in us. For by him, we know we are cleansed from all obstacles. Amen
