A Meeting Point – 1 Samuel 22:1–5
In 1 Samuel 22:1–5, David finds himself in the cave of Adullam, where his family and others who were distressed, in debt, or discontented gathered around him. What began as a place of refuge became a meeting point where people found community, direction, and leadership.

This passage reminds us that God can use difficult seasons and unexpected places to bring people together. David was running from danger, yet God was preparing him to lead. The cave was not the end of his journey; it was a place of preparation.

Our difficult seasons can also become meeting points where relationships are formed, faith is strengthened, and God prepares us for what lies ahead. Like David, we should remain faithful in hidden places and trust that God is working even when circumstances seem uncertain.

Praise and worship is an opportunity to come into God’s presence with grateful hearts, lifting up His name and acknowledging His goodness, faithfulness, and love.

Praise reminds us that God is worthy of our thanksgiving in every season. Worship goes deeper it is an expression of our love, surrender, reverence, and devotion to God.

“Oh come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” — Psalm 95:1

Let our praise be joyful, our worship be genuine, and our hearts be open to God’s presence. May everything we sing and every word we speak bring glory and honor to His name.

A Rare Opportunity
2 Kings 13:14–20 presents a powerful and timely lesson about recognizing and responding to the opportunities God gives us.

When King Joash visited the dying prophet Elisha, Elisha told him to take the bow and arrows and strike the ground. Joash struck the ground three times and stopped. Elisha became angry because the king had stopped too soon. The opportunity before him was greater than the response he gave.

This reminds us that some opportunities come only once. God may place before us a door, a moment, a relationship, a ministry, or a chance to act in faith—but we must recognize it and respond wholeheartedly.

Joash's limited response resulted in a limited outcome. His story challenges us not to approach God's opportunities with hesitation, fear, or half-heartedness.

A rare opportunity requires a wholehearted response.

When God gives you an opportunity, do not stop too soon. Pray, believe, act in faith, and make the most of the moment.

There is something beautiful about coming together as God’s people, lifting our voices in worship, opening our hearts in prayer, and simply resting in His presence.

Today, we are reminded of how far God has brought us, how faithful He has been, and how much we have to be grateful for. In His presence, we find strength for the journey, peace for our hearts, and renewed hope for the days ahead.

May our worship today not only be a moment, but a lifestyle. May the songs we sing become the testimony we live, and may the Word we receive continue to guide us throughout the week.

Whatever you may be facing, remember: God is still faithful, His grace is still sufficient, and His presence is always with us.

Genesis 12 is a powerful story of faith, obedience, and God’s divine promise. God called Abram to leave his homeland and family and go to a land that He would show him. Although Abram did not know what the future held, he trusted God and obeyed His call.

God promised to make Abram a great nation, bless him, make his name great, and make him a blessing to others. Abram’s response teaches us that true faith means trusting God even when we cannot see the whole picture.

The chapter reminds us that God’s call may require us to leave our comfort zones, but His promises give us the courage to move forward. When we obey God in faith, we position ourselves to walk in His purpose and become a blessing to others.

Key lesson: Faith is trusting God enough to obey His call, believing that His promises are greater than our uncertainties.
