Dear God, I don't know who or what will cross my path today. But i do know that Your my rock and my fortress.
You are my shield and my strong tower.
Help me to anchor myself to You today Father.
Teach me how to stand strong in You and choose only Your way today.
Help me walk by Your truth and not my feelings.
Help me to embrace anything that comes my way as an opportunity to see You at work and as opportunity to point others to You.

Speaking to the Heart

God never calls us to do anything without faithfully keeping His word and enabling us to do it.
We are not always faithful to do what God tells us, but He remains faithful and stands by His word to fulfill what He has promised (Isa 46:11).
When the children of Israel reached the red sea, they might have concluded that God had abandoned His promise to them. The sea was barring their advance, and the murderous Egyptian army was racing to overtake them! Yet God proved then, as He has ever since, that He is absolutely faithful to every word He speaks to His children.

God may have spoken to you about something in particular-- a ministry in your church, the way to raise your children, or what you should do in your job. You have obeyed Him, but now you face a Red Sea experience. It seems that what you thought God wanted to accomplish is not happening. Perhaps your ministry has not been well received, or your children are rebelling, or those at your workplace are criticizing your actions. Trust in the character of God. It is His nature to be faithful. The Testmony of His people throughout the ages is expressed by the psalmist, who declared: "I have been younger, and now I am old;/ Yet I have not seen the righteous forsake, / Nor his descendants begging bread" (Ps 37:25).

Regardless of how bleak your present circumstances are, for not lose hope. No one has ever experienced faithfulness on God's part! Allow time for God to reveal His faithfulness to you.
Someday you will reflect on what God has done and praise Him for His absolute faithfulness to you.

As a Christian, you have everything you need to live a holy and abundant life ( 2 Pet 1:11).
Your intelligence, Your education, or your family background do not determine the holiness of your life. Everything you need to live a victorious, joyful, and abundant life is found in the Holy Spirit who resides within you( Gal 5:22-23).
According to Peter, each Christian, by faith, has access to these qualities: godness, knowledge if God, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love, It would be of no use to inherit a fortune if you did not know it was yours,
Likewise, it is of no benefit to inherit everything necessary to become like Christ if you do not claim it.
If we continue to lack self-control when God has made it available, we rob ourselves and those around us If God is willing to instill brotherly kindness into our behavior, but we never display it, people will suffer needlessly as result.
The key to all that God has made available to us is our faith.
We must believe that God wants to build these qualities into our lives. In the Gospels, Jesus related to people according to their faith ( Matt 8:13; 9:29; 15:28). He rewarded genuine faith by granting salvation and healing. If He met unbelief, He did not reward it ( Mark 6:5-6).
Review the qualities that Peter said God wants to instill in love.
If you lack any of these qualities, ask God to work them into your character, so that you will be more like Christ.

Ephesians 2

1 Destined for Wrath, Saved by Grace You were dead in your trespasses and sins.

2 At that time, you walked in the way of this world, in conformity to the ruler of the domain of the air—the ruler of the spirit who is now operating in the sons of disobedience.

3 We too all lived among them in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind. By nature we were children of wrath, just like the others.

4 But God was rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us.

5 Even when we were dead in our trespasses, He made us alive together with Messiah. (By grace you have been saved!)

6 And He raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Messiah Yeshua—

7 to show in the olam ha-ba the measureless richness of His grace in kindness toward us in Messiah Yeshua.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not from yourselves—it is the gift of God.

9 It is not based on deeds, so that no one may boast.

10 For we are His workmanship—created in Messiah Yeshua for good deeds, which God prepared beforehand so we might walk in them.

If you are goin through a difficult or confusing time, know that the Lord has gone before you and He is present with you. He is fully aware of what you are facing, and He is actively responding to your need. There is nowhere you can go that you will not find Christ waiting for you to join Him. Even when you face death, you can be assured that He has gone before you in triumph, As a child of God, rest in the knowledge that your savior preceded you, and He will walk with you through each experience of your life.

What you value most is your treasure. Where you spend your time and your money is your treasure.
Whatever dominates your conversation is what you treasure. What others know you for is a good indication of what your treasure is.
Most Christians are quick to claim that God is their first priority.
Yet often their actions reveal that their treasure is not God but things of this world. Some Christians find it difficult to discuss their relationship with God, but they can chatter easily about their family, friends, or hobbies.
Some find it impossible to rise early in order to spend time with God, but they willingly get up at down to pursue a hobby. Some find it difficult to give an offering to God but readily spend lavishly on recreation. Some boldly approach strangers to sell a product, yet they are painfully timid in telling others about their Savior. Some give hundreds of hours to serve in volunteer orgnizations but feel they have no time available to serve God.

When God announces that now is the acceptable time, what you do next is critical. How often people have been unprepared when a word came to them from the Lord. God said, "Now is the time for you to respond to Me" and their response was, "But I'm not ready. I have some things I need to do first. I'm too busy! (Matt 8:21). God's timing is always perfect. He knows you, and He fully aware of your circumstances. He knows all that He has built into your life until now, and He extends His invitation knowing that His resources are more than adequate for any assignment He gaves you.
