Adam and Eve are originally naked but they are not ashamed. Then they eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil. And the Bible says, instantly their eyes are opened. They look unto themselves and realize they are naked. Then they go into hiding.

The first time God calls them, they reply; "We heard your voice and we hid from you because we were naked."

Then God asks; "Who told you that you were naked?"

Do you know those moments when you are in Praise and Worship sessions in Church then that small voice comes in as you are getting lost in worship? It says; "really, you Hypocrite, after what you did yesterday, you still gonna raise those hands in worship? After what you said here and there, you wanna be praising?"

And if you listen any longer to that voice, you kind of feel uncomfortable, unworthy, undeserving and even quickly do a confession. It is that moment when you have your; "who told you you were naked sessions."

No body is gonna beat you in this world without the permission of your mind. All that the devil wants from you, is your mind, your conscience. Because if he can capture your mind, he can capture your life forever.

The devil doesn't need to do anything else in your life. All he needs is to plant a seed in your mind, and it will grow and bear fruit. And he's gonna have a hell of a ride in there.

A lot of people go through life feeling unworthy, undeserving. They feel as though they don't deserve to be in better places. They go in prayer but their mind has already been captured. Because every instant that song is playing in their mind, you are not good enough, you are not intelligent, you are a sinner, you are confused, you cheated on your wife, you did this and that.

And so like Adam and Eve, they are now trying to hide from the presence of God. Even when they are in Church and that song comes on, they don't sing it like they mean it, they are now full of doubt. Even when they ask God for something, they don't feel like they deserve it.

But who told them that they were naked?

That's why the Bible is always about renewing your mind, guarding your mind. The Bible says above all else, guard your heart for everything you do flows from it.

In Philippians there is a cry; "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

You gotta meditate on the word of God day and night. Imagine meditating on a verse such as; "I am the righteousness of God." The Devil tries to remind you of your shortcomings, you are like; "Brother, I am the righteousness of God."

And what is the Path of the righteous? It is just like the morning sun shinning brighter and brighter till the full light of day.

Everything around us has come from the mind. The phone I am using to write was once an imprint in someone's mind. We raise our kids telling them the worst about themselves and we wonder why they manifest that. All their lives the only thing they ever heard was you are foolish, you are stupid, you are undeserving. And they have grown to manifest that. Then the parents wonder what went wrong. Come on, you told them they were naked and they took that in day and night.

If anybody conquers your mind, they have conquered you. Let nobody take that mind. It is the gateway. A lot of people lose in life not because they are not talented or strong but they get into a battle when their mind is not on their side.

*YOU ARE RESPONSIBILE FOR YOUR CHOICES*

_*"And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.""*_
*Joshua 24:15*

Recently, an elderly lady came to me with so many complaints. She was really fully charged and determined to splash all her blames on God for every seeming mistake she had made in her life.

She blamed God for the 'irresponsibility' husband she is married to. She blamed God for the wayward children she has. She blamed God for her crumbling career, and blamed the Lord for just everything.

I understood indeed that she was just fade up, tired, and given up. And in that moment, I looked towards Heaven and asked God to help me to be of help to this daughter of Abraham.

And the Word of the Lord came to me for her in Joshua 1:9 saying, _*"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God [is] with you wherever you go."*_

No sooner had I delivered unto her that Word than she calmed down to listen me too. And I continued to read for her Proverbs 16:9 which says, _*"We plan the way we want to live, but only GOD makes us able to live it."*_

Beloved Saints, God is the least One you ought to blame for your shortcomings. God is ever for you and never against you.

He is the God of a free will, and yet after you have made your free will, He stands by you to support you. Whether your choice is good or bad, He stands by you to make all your choices work together for your good in Christ.

The choice of your marriage partner was yours, your current career was your choice, and even to be in Salvation was your own choice. Nevertheless, God through the Holy Spirit is always guiding us to make the right decision, however, it is not a guarantee that whoever is guided by the Holy Spirit will choose the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

This is why Joshua in our theme scripture tells the children of Israel that, _*"But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord."*_

Just like the Holy Spirit, Joshua would only encourage the Jews to choose the right decision to serve the LORD, but he could not choose for them.

Beloved, there is no bad choice beyond repair, because the God you have chosen to serve is the God who perfects that which concerns you; He is the God who will not forsake the works of His hands - and you are the works of His hands.

If you think you are a result of a bad choice, or you feel that your current circumstances are the results of your past bad choices, then trust God today to perfect that which concerns you. If it is a bad marriage, of course don't expect a new spouse but believe that He will change your spouse for you in Jesus' name. Hallelujah!

Those who are truly the followers of Christ love as brethren, and are the salt of the earth, the light of the world. Every true believer catches the bright beams from the Morning Star, and transmits the light to those who sit in darkness. Not only do they shine amid the darkness in their own neighborhoods, but as a church they go forth to regions beyond. The Lord expects every man to do his duty. Everyone who unites with the church is to be one with Christ, diffusing the bright beams of the Morning Star and becoming the light of the world. Christ and His people are to be co-partners in the great work of saving the world."

Weekly Wisdom:
"Every action you take is a seed you sow, and every seed you sow is a harvest you'll reap."
Have you ever had a thought like this: "Nobody would ever notice"? Or this: "It's just a little thing"? But to God, every action -- big or small -- is important, because every action you take is a seed you sow.
For example, say that you tell your boss you worked eight hours when really you only worked six. But on the other hand, it's only two hours, and "nobody will ever notice." However, you're sowing seeds of dishonesty in your life that will reap a harvest of the very same thing.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7-8) Don't think that you can lie to someone (i.e. sow a seed of dishonesty), but yet expect to reap a harvest of truth in your life.
Proverbs 22:8 warns that He who sows wickedness reaps trouble.
Therefore, be very careful about how you act in every area of life, because every action you take is a seed you sow, and every seed you sow is a harvest you'll reap.

Christ was more than a resurrected Jesus who has now vanished. He said something radical: “I AM the resurrection” (John 11:25). We tend to think of the resurrection as an event, but Christ said it was Himself. How was that? To begin with He embodied the life forces that raised Him. He personalized and personified life: “I am the life,” He said (John 11:25). He radiates resurrection energy, wherever people seek Him. There is something else that is special – when Jesus rose from the dead it was not His own private event, a nine-day wonder. His resurrection was a cosmic happening, an explosion of life in the Jerusalem tomb that affected heaven and earth. He rose like a new sun, warming and lighting the world and bringing in a resurrection era

In the jungle,
The biggest animal is the Elephant,
The tallest is the Giraffe,
The wisest is the Fox,
The fastest is the Cheetah.

But besides all those wonderful qualities the Lion is the KING of the jungle even without ANY of them.!!

*Why??*
Because...

The Lion is courageous,
The Lion is very bold,
The Lion is always ready to face any challenges and barriers that cross its path, no matter how big/bad they are.!!

The Lion walks with confidence. The Lion dares anything and is never afraid. The Lion believes he is unstoppable. The Lion is a risk taker. The Lion believes any animal is food for it. The Lion believes any opportunity is worth giving a try and never lets it slip from its hands. The Lion has charisma.!!

*So...*
- What is it that we get to learn from the Lion ??

• You don't need to be the fastest!
• You don't need to be the wisest!
• You don't need to be the smartest!
• You don't need to be the most brilliant!
• You don't need to be generally accepted to achieve your dreams and be great in life.!!

• All you need is *courage*
• All you need is *boldness*
• All you need is the will to try.
• All you need is the faith to believe it is possible.
• All you need is to believe in yourself, that *you can* do it.!!

It's TIME to bring out the Lion in you..!!

Just when you thought you had it all figured out!

A pretty woman was serving a life sentence in prison. Angry and resentful about her situation, she had decided that she would rather die than to live another year in prison.Over the years she had become good friends with one of the prison caretakers. His job, among others, was to bury those prisoners who died in a graveyard just outside the prison walls. When a prisoner died, the caretaker rang a bell, which was heard by everyone. The caretaker then got the body and put it in a casket. Next, he entered his office to fill out the death certificate before returning to the casket to nail the lid shut. Finally, he put the casket on a wagon to take it to the graveyard and bury it.

Knowing this routine, the woman devised an escape plan and shared it with the caretaker. The next time the bell rang, the woman would leave her cell and sneak into the dark room where the coffins were kept. She would slip into the coffin with the dead body while the caretaker was filling out the death certificate. When the care-taker returned, he would nail the lid shut and take the coffin outside the prison with. The woman in the coffin along with the dead body. He would then bury the coffin. The woman knew there would be enough air for her to breathe until later in the evening when the caretaker would return to the graveyard under the cover of darkness, dig up the coffin, open it, and set her free.

The caretaker was reluctant to go along with this plan, but since he and the woman had become good friends over the years, he agreed to do it. The woman waited several weeks before someone in the prison died. She was asleep in her cell when she heard the death bell ring. She got up and slowly walked down the hallway. She was nearly caught a couple of times. Her heart was beating fast. She opened the door to the darkened room where the coffins were kept. Quietly in the dark, she found the
coffin that contained the dead body, carefully climbed into the coffin and pulled the lid shut to wait for the caretaker to come and nail the lid shut.Soon she heard footsteps and the pounding of the hammer and nails.

Even though she was very uncomfortable in the coffin with the dead body, She knew that with each nail she was one step closer to freedom. The coffin was lifted onto the wagon and taken outside to the graveyard. She could feel the coffin being lowered into the ground. She didn't make a sound as the coffin hit the bottom of the grave with a thud. Finally she heard the dirt dropping onto the top of the wooden coffin, and she knew that it was only a matter of time until she would be free at last. After several minutes of absolute silence, she began to laugh. She was free! She was free! Feeling curious, she decided to light a match to find out the identity of the dead prisoner beside her.To her horror, she discovered that she was lying next to the dead caretaker.

Many people believe they have life all figured out..... but sometimes it just doesn't turn out the way they planned it.
Allow Jesus take full control of your life.

A certain man walked into a hotel and after perusing through the menu, ordered for some food. After about 20 mins a group of guys walked in and ordered for their food too.
To the dismay of the man, these guys got served first. He watched as they began to eat and laugh heartily. He even overheard one of them brag about how he knew everyone at that hotel and how things moved fast for him there.
He felt he was being mocked. He contemplated leaving. But he had waited soo long. Unable to take it anymore, he called a waiter. The waiter calmly told him: "yours sir is a special order, being prepared by the chief chef himself.
Their orders were prepared hurriedly by students on attachement because the top chefs are busy with yours. That's why they came first. Please have some juice as you wait".
He calmed down and waited. Shortly after, his meal was served by 6 waiters.
Unknown to him, the owner of the hotel (who happened to be an old long lost friend of his) had seen him coming and wanted to surprise him and had made changes to his simple meal to make it a five star meal.
The party at the other table were shocked. They couldn't stop staring. Suddenly they were the ones murmuring, asking why they didn't get that kind of service and meal.
So it is with this life!! Some people are ahead of you and eating now, laughing at you about how they know people, how they are well connected and how they're blessed, have money and how they're enjoying life because of it.
You have been waiting long wondering why its taking soo long to get your breakthrough, enduring mockery and humiliation. Maybe you have contemplated su***de, gone through depression or suffered severe mental anxiety.
Do not worry!! The owner of the world has seen you and doesn't want to give you a simple meal like those laughing at you. You're waiting long because yours is a special meal. It takes time to prepare. And only chief chefs prepare them.
Take heart today!! Wait for your meal and relax. When it comes that laughing party will be silenced for good.
