Grace is given to heal the spiritually sick, not to decorate spiritual heroes” - Grace in Jesus’ life amazes me! Jesus made Grace His way of life: He was conscious of His heavenly Father’s superabundant supply, even in the face of demands which were completely impossible to meet in the natural. Since Jesus lives within all of us believers (Gal.2:20), we too can do so. He was once approached by over 5,000 people and only had five loaves and two small fish! Jesus didn’t see the over-whelming scarcity; He was instead conscious of His heavenly Father’s superabundant supply of Grace which He believed was still flowing toward Him. As He gave out the loaves and fish, they multiplied until the people could eat as much as they wanted. And when they were filled, there were still twelve basketfuls of bread left over. His simple consciousness of God’s always-abundant Grace turned a situation of overwhelming demand into one of super-abounds supply. Are we facing a five-loaves-and-two-fish, financial insufficiency or any life hardship situations today? If so, let’s be encouraged to read John 6 and we will saturate our hearts with the mass of God’s supply flowing toward us, even right now. Honestly, if after we have given the matter to Jesus and nothing happens, what can we do? If Jesus Himself can’t do anything about it, do you think we can? Praise God, once the problem is handed over to Jesus, He can and will do a perfect work of taking care of it! So live a life of rest. We need to have this attitude and tell the Lord, “I can do nothing of myself. I just rest in You Lord and I trust you.” Much-loved, what we will see and enjoy is the Grace of God upon us in every situation of our life! It’s really so simple that we usually miss it. We simply need to humble ourselves, ask for God’s help, then do what He says. And as we are faithful to do what we can do, God will be faithful to pour out His Grace and do what we can’t do.
