Shepherd's Fold

The word of the Lord comes with a truth so right, that at times we find ourselves in situations where we decide to look the other way. Quite often our expectations are, that upon accepting Christ then all life pieces fall in place “without a thought of letting his will prevail”.
Today we are reminded of his union “Father, Son, Holy spirit”. Often times we tend to disregard the Holy Spirit with impressive consideration mostly for the Father and Son.
What does this say about our relationships?

Life is better when you are happy, but life is at its best when others are happy because of you: Be faithful in touching other's hearts. Be an inspiration. Nothing in nature lives for itself;.Rivers do not drink their own water. Trees do not eat their own fruits. The Sun does not shine for itself and Flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We were all born to help each other. No matter how difficult the situation you find yourself in, Still do good to others!!!

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." Instantly the image of the shepherd god springs to mind. It is easy to imagine the green meadows, the grass caressed by the gentle breeze of an afternoon in the spring. We can almost see the sheep lying in the golden light of the sun, have been filled to satisfaction grazing in the lush pastures all the day long.

Nearby we hear the dancing waters of a mountain brook; we see the shepherd rousing his sheep, guiding them, leading them, around those steep places where the water rushes down the mountainside in a torrent. The shepherd leads them to a place of safety beneath the shadow of an overhanging tree, where the water stands still and clear.

On Good Friday, Shepherd's Fold together with "Eyes of Mercy" were part of a children's outreach at Makerere Kivulu. A lot of games and singing happened, the word of God and delicious food was shared. We were blessed to be a blessing to these children!

Taday at Shepherd's fold Church, we had a wonderful service. We were able to learn more about the prodigal son, and how we are attracted by the preasures of this world that causes us to run away from God. But is amazing we realize our mistakes and come back to God, His arms are always open wide to receive us. How amazing is the love of God!!!
