Don’t be like the masses be different
Num 11:4
And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
You can choose to be different in life. Many times we are carried about by what we see, feel and encounter around us. It may be the people around us or the circumstances that we encounter but you can choose to be different. When the children of Israel came out of Egypt, they came with what the bible describe as the mixed multitude. The mixed multitude comprised of people who were unteachable and were never convinced about God’s word however much they enjoyed mighty miracles which God wrought through Moses the servant of the Lord. The Mixed multitude murmured against Moses many times. That is the reason none of them entered into the Promised Land because they were people who could not honor God to believe his word. The mixed multitude were people who never regarded God, they always saw Moses and knew not God as much as they could receive mighty things from him. There were two men who chose to be different even when they could have paid it with their lives and that is Caleb and Joshua. Num 13:30 “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it”. Even when the rest of the people were saying the contrary, he chose to say the right thing and remain in line with the word of God. He was not moved like the rest. That is the character we are talking about. Be different and remain strong don’t be like the masses. There are people who live their lives by what they see around them. What others do or get is what they think they should do and get as well. That is not the way you should live your life because God has something different for you. Rise above the common and be different.
Speak the word now
I choose to be different in my walk of salvation. The light of God has risen on me and I rise above the common. Hallelujah

Matthew 14:3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

6 But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod. note

7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
A preacher was murdered for condemning sin. It's not that since you are a preacher everyone loves you. No, some actually wish you dead and want you dead not because you did something wrong. No, just because you taught what God wants on earth. You spoke about that sexual sin that is dragging someone to hell. You asked them to leave it but because sin hardens the sinner, they now want you dead. They may not have said it openly yet in their hearts that is what they want. Do you know people kill for love? If someone is in love with another person and sees someone else coming in between, they can kill. As a preacher you come between them every day you comdemn that sin. If not for God on our side the devil would have granted their desire. If everyone loves you and you are a preacher, something is wrong. Jesus said they hated me and they will hate you. Cheer up for he has overcome the world. We too shall overcome praise God forever.

Come to the throne with boldnessf
Heb 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
We have been called to the throne of God. We are asked to come with boldness that means with freedom in speaking, unreservedness in speech. We have to be open and frank without concealment and without any ambiguity or circumlocution, without the use of figures and comparisons. We are to be free, fearless with confidence, having cheerful courage, boldness and assurance. In the Old Testament, it was only the priest who was allowed to go into the holiest place and he did it only once a year. By the blood of Jesus, we have received access into the holy place and we can come into that place at any time with full confidence and assurance. Heb 10:19-23 “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised”). The day when Jesus died, the veil that separated the holy place was rent from top to bottom. That was significant in that we had received access to God. The presence of God had left the temple and we had become the temple of God. He has come to live in us and we had become his temple. Eph 2:18 “For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father”. There is no more fear in us because we have received the Spirit of God which gives us boldness. Rom 8:15-17 “For ye have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together”. We are heirs and joint heirs with Christ. A righteous man is bold and has nothing to fear. We have received righteousness as a gift from God to us. Prov 28:1 “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion”. We don’t run when nobody is chasing us but we are bold than never before.
Speak the word now
I have the boldness of God in me, I come to the throne with full assurance and boldness knowing that I have access to the throne of God. Hallelujah

Endurance the quality of overcomers

Heb 12:1-2
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us
The word endurance is also called patience in some translations of the bible. It means having the ability to withstand hardship or adversity especially the ability to sustain a prolonged stressful effort or activity, the act or an instance of enduring or suffering. No wonder the King James Bible calls it long suffering. Let us examine for example Abraham when God called him, he stayed for a long time without a child. I believe there were people around him that might have said, ‘this man calls himself a prophet but, he says he speaks to God but he cannot have any child’. Many insults can arise as we walk with God some of which are discouraging but we must endure all. Jesus said to us, Matt 10:22-23 And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. The word of God appears foolish to those who are perishing as we know from the scriptures and for this reason we appear foolish to them. They don’t understand why we do what we do or believe in what we believe. These results into persecution and during such moments, many give up their faith. Many will not want to be identified with the cross (suffering) of Christ. Some of this persecution comes right from our families like Job, his wife was the one who asked him to curse God and die because he was suffering Job 2:7-10 So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. 8 And he took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes. 9 Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!" 10 But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
Speak the word now
I endure the testing and trying moments that comes my way, I patiently wait for the Lords promise for I know that He who has began a good work in me shall bring it to accomplishment. Praise be to God.

Matt 24:11-14
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
James 5:7-11
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! 10 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. 11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord — that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
