City of Faith Church Without good works our faith is dead. If you really believe in Jesus, then you will want to do what he asks of you.

Our task is to work with the grace we receive from God and thereby testify to our faith.“faith apart from works is dead” (James. 2:26).

‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

What does this scripture mean?

'If you're generous, you'll get lots back; if you're not, you won't get much.' So, be like a good farmer – plant lots of seeds of kindness, hard work, and helping others. Your harvest will be amazing! Every little good thing you do is a seed. Don't be shy to sow many seeds, and soon you'll see a big garden of happiness and success in your life. Keep sowing generously, and watch your life bloom!"

God bless you 🙏

As Christians, we long for the day we will meet our Savior face to face. We cling to the promise that our Lord will reappear and we will spend eternity worshipping him. Even on our toughest days, we hold to this blessed hope. When the world feels dark and troubling, we know this is just our temporary home. Our home is with our savior, Jesus Christ. It is this blessed hope that keeps us pressing onward and sharing this hope with the rest of the world.

In the awake of all things good & evil, God has the whole world in His hands.

Christians don't need a president because we already have Jesus the LORD of Lords & the KING of kings. Isn't that enough?

No matter who becomes president of Uganda, our work is simple, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile ( if Uganda is becoming an exile for us). Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."

The world went crazy since the fall of Man, from then man will always try to do whatever pleases them at the expense of others or other creature. Only the blood of Jesus brings redemption to all nations of the World.

The sure word from God is Ecclesiastic 1:9-10 What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.
10 Is there anything of which one can say,
“Look! This is something new”?
It was here already, long ago;
it was here before our time.

I implore you to read the whole Chapter, let us pray with courage & knowledge. Even this will pass!

Above all *God is still on the throne,* this world including Uganda is his and will never belong to Lucifer.

Thus we belong to God and he is not yet done with us.

Enjoy the new season & pray for our city for peace & prosperity to prevail, for when these exist We too will have peace & prosper.

Halleluuuuuujah!!!!!😲😀

James 1:1-12
1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,

To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations:

Greetings.

Trials and Temptations
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

9 Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. 10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wildflower. 11 For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Romans 12:1-2
A Living Sacrifice
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Lessons;

1. Jesus Christ says is the Life, to present your body as a living sacrifice, therefore, necessitates that you have allowed his life in you & through him, we get to God. Holiness resides in Jesus & there if you are in him alone then you can be holy & pleasing in God's sight. Make it a point to daily present yourself to God through Jesus Christ; for without him you can barely do nothing.

2. Once you have your indwelling in Jesus Christ, the requirement is that you are willing to conform to the heavenly kingdom patterns NOT the world. Scripture says that who is in Jesus Christ is a new creation, the old has gone & the new has come, & therefore we have to daily commit to the new thing & embrace the transforming power of Jesus Christ to renew our mind. The mind has the ability to bring to remembrance the old things, but God gives us the ability to overcome such forces & cause us to only think of the new things.

3. After doing the above, Then you & I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will. The test comes with availability of someone to be tested. God is, therefore, willing to avail himself to be tested of his good, pleasing & perfect will.

Are you a living sacrifice?
What is the new thing you have embrace today?

God bless you!

Looking on the bright side of life has positive effects on your emotional state, but it can also help your partner. Because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. Romans 10:9-10

He is Coming Back

Keep a sharp lookout! For you do not know when I will come... Watch for my return!
- Mark 13:35,36 (TLB)

The great Dwight L. Moody used to say, “I never preached a sermon without thinking that possibly the Lord may come before I preach another.” Dr. G. Campbell Morgan, the distinguished British clergy-man, said, “I never begin my work in the morning without thinking that perhaps he may interrupt my work and begin His own. I am not looking for death. I am looking for Him.” That is the way a Christian should live his life – in the constant anticipation of the return of Jesus Christ! If we could live every day as though it may be the very last one before the final judgment, what a difference it would make here on earth! But we don’t like to think that way. We don’t like to think that our carefully made plans, our long range schemes may be interrupted by the trumpet of God. Too many people would rather say, “Oh, well, the end of the world hasn’t come yet, so why think about it – it’s probably a thousand years away.”

Today might be the last day when Jesus returns. Cleanse me, Father
