THE ANGELIC MINISTRY

Hebrews 1:13-14 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Notice verse 13 says, "But to which of the ANGELS. . . . " So He's talking about angels. Now look at verse 14: "Are they not all ministering spirits. . . ?" Now notice what it said. "Are they not ALL [How many of them? All of them.] ministering spirits. . . ?"

They are spirit beings. They are ". . . ministering spirits, sent forth to minister FOR them who shall be HEIRS OF SALVATION" (Hebrews 1:14). Well, that's us! These angels are ministering spirits that are sent forth to minister for us. "For" us means they were sent to do something for us!

Now over in Satan's kingdom, we could say that Satan is the chief. And, you see, all these demons and other spirits are doing his work. You hear people say sometimes, "Satan influenced me to do that." Well, he might not have been there present at the time, but one of his ambassadors was.

These demons and evil spirits influence people. They'll even influence Christians, if Christians will let them. Well, just as demon spirits influence people, good spirits or ministering spirits can influence people too; these ones do it for godly purposes, for the will of God.

PRAYER: Thank you Father for the ministry of angels and for the truth I've learnt about them today. I declare that these ministering spirits are functioning in my everyday life. They are influencing my work, they bring divine connections. I release them to watch over my family, my ministry and my finances in Jesus' name.

THE REALM OF PERFECT PEACE

Isaiah 26:3-4 You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [Whose] mind [is] stayed [on You,] Because he trusts in You.
Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, [is] everlasting strength.

The Lord would not have instructed us to stay our mind on the Word unless some lies were already contending for it (our mind). If you fall for satan's lies, peace leaves you - however when you cling to the revelation of the Word; perfect peace is what you receive as a consequence.

The fact that there are people who have died of certain diseases has no spiritual bearing to change the Truth that By His stripes we WERE healed. You don't have to give up on Faith no matter what the circumstances speak! Stick to the Word.

While the kingdom of God is spreading Truth, the evil world is spreading lies. You begin to lose peace the moment you believe and live by a certain lie. Now by lie; I emphatically mean that which is contrary to the revelation of Christ and His finished works.

PRAYER: Thank you Father for your Word is eternal. Nothing can change what you've spoken over me because there is nothing you said to me in your Word that you have not accomplished in Christ. May this peace of God frustrate every failure, sickness, poverty, stress, restlessness and every evil thing in Jesus' name.

PRACTICAL WISDOM!
{taking the small steps}

Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Writing your vision looks small to many but a very important step to your divine destiny. It is easier however to neglect because many times we want to focus on the seemingly big things. There are many things that look small yet are the very things that cost us our dreams because we neglect doing them.

One of the traps a man can fall into is to design his own goals. Not putting in mind the TRUTH that God before creating you, firstly appointed your purpose with specific goals in mind then He confirmed your entry into your mother's womb ~ Jeremiah 1:5.

Writing your vision is an important aspect which we tend to despise many times. God gives the vision and right away calls it yours! Why? because its the reason for your existence. You need to find it otherwise you could be running the wrong race. *WRITE IT!* establish it in your heart and then pen it.

PRAYER:
Father I thank you for this truth. I believe that you knew me before I was formed in my mother's womb. I am not a divine accident because you don't make mistakes. I declare that I am locating my part in your grand plan by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name.

TRUE FAITH IS OF THE HEART!

1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned”.

The term "natural man" literally means "a human being governed by his own natural, human powers (senses), and not by the Spirit of God. It includes, but is not limited to, all men who are not born again. This is also descriptive of carnal Christians; those that live under the limitations of the confines of their human mind even though they’ve believed Christ.

Spiritual truths can only be perceived by a man's spirit. Therefore, it is impossible for those who are walking in the vanity and limitation of their minds (Ephesians. 4:17) to understand OR even manifest the things of God.

The Word of God is a spiritual book written under the direction of the Holy Spirit. It was not written to our head but to the innermost part of our heart, our spirit. This is why some people find the Bible so hard to understand. They are trying to comprehend it using ONLY their mind. The Word of God has to inspire our heart (our spirit) before it can enlighten our head.

PRAYER: Father I thank you for this truth! I refuse to live in the limitations of my mind. By the wisdom and power of your Word; I release myself into the arms of the Holy Spirit. May the Word of God actively come alive in my spirit that I will discern the finished works of Christ, as well understand my part in this life.

EVERY PERSON NEEDS SALVATION

Luke 9:9 “And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him”.

The great and wonderful things Herod continually heard about Jesus birthed a desire in him to want to see Him. This is one of the purposes of miracles, signs and wonders – to point men to Christ. The message version says Herod was so curious, he even looked for an opportunity to see Jesus in action.

The message of Christ is not limited to the disadvantaged in the worldly sense of it. I believe that before Jesus comes back the gospel has to get into government offices, palaces and every highly regarded place. All these people before God are disadvantaged if they miss out on salvation.

In Luke 8:2-3, Scriptures tell us one of the women from whom Jesus cast demons was Joanna; a wife to Chuza, Herod’s steward. It’s also said she gave from her substance into Jesus’ ministry. Perhaps she was among the sources from whom Herod knew about Jesus.

Wherever you are; be it government, business, palace or any high place. You still need to receive Jesus Christ in your heart. The Word of God tells us He is the way, the Truth and Life – John 14:6. Also read Acts 4:12, John 3:3. The opportunity of salvation is for all but it’s of your own free will.

PRAYER: Thank you loving God for the gift of salvation. May the eyes of my understanding open more and more to the revelation of the finished works of Jesus Christ. May my heart grasp and live by the knowledge of Christ. May it impact my calling, my marriage and family, my work and finances, my health. I declare that I am more than a conqueror in Jesus’ name.

WHO IS TALKING TO YOU?

Luke 4:3 “And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread”.

The scriptures refer to Jesus as the second Adam; but just like the first Adam, we also see an account of the devil talking to Him. This tells us evidently that the devil can speak to a human being. Jesus knew of a certain whose voice this was and also He knew how and with what to respond. John 10:27 says it is granted to a believer to distinguish voices.

Based on our theme scripture, I believe it’s imperative to always ascertain the source of whatever we might call God speaking to us. If we fail to distinguish those voices then we could fall into the trap of the enemy and begin to serve his purposes.

The Word of God was given to us as the yardstick to examine all whatever we’d call messages from God. John 17:17 says the Word is truth. 1John 5:7 says the Father, the Word and the Spirit agree. This means neither the Father nor the Holy Spirit can speak contrary to the true revelation of the Word because they are one.

We must grow into the revelation knowledge, wisdom and understanding of the Word that we will not fall prey to the devil’s tricks when he speaks. Hebrews 4:13 tells us; nothing is hidden from God’s Word.

PRAYER: Thank you Father for divine wisdom and revelation. Thank you for the spirit of discernment. By the power and wisdom of your Word I learn to distinguish voices. I will never fall prey to the devil and his lies. I frustrate every plan of confusion, failure and delay from the enemy in Jesus’ name.

SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE IS HIGHER LIGHT

Luke 1:79. “To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace”.

It tells us about the function of the ministry of John the Baptist to the people of his day. Scripture says; it was to give light to them that sat in darkness. From the English dictionary, light (the noun) also means: a condition of spiritual awareness. In other words the spiritual awareness John was proclaiming was to serve as a light to them that heard it.

When a person is moving in darkness, he will not avoid stumbling. It’s just normal. Knowledge just like light; has power to help a person walk in life steadily concerning the circumstances of life. Things that are seen were made by things which are not seen – Hebrews 11:3. This means the physical is inferior to the spiritual. In any case; if the knowledge of the physical is a light, then most definitely – Spiritual knowledge is undeniably the GREATER LIGHT.

No wonder at creation, when the earth was without form. God said let there be light – Genesis 1:3. He subjected this formless thing to His knowledge (His Word who is Jesus Christ) and that’s how and when creation begun – John 1:3. Jesus said He is the light of the world – John 8:12. He is actually that Light that God SET into action in the beginning. I believe this is the very reason why only this LIGHT - THE WORD - JESUS CHRIST could execute the salvation plan.

God is calling us to fellowship with this LIGHT (the revelation of Christ) so deeply that He (Jesus Christ) might consequently become the reason we shall not stumble. He is the GREAT LIGHT.

PRAYER: Father I thank you for Jesus Christ. The eyes of my understanding are opening to connect and function with this Light. I refuse to stumble or to be confused in life. The wisdom and power of the Word is directing my path. This year, 2023 may my path shine brighter and brighter in Jesus’ name.
