Summary: Building a culture of prayer

The Spirit Of Prayer
Prayer is an essential part of our Christian race, since it has a pivotal role to play in the fulfilment of our destiny.

The more we pray, the more we understand God's ways. The deeper we plunge into prayer, the clearer His ways and thoughts become to us (Isaiah 55:8-9).
The mysteries of God’s kingdom are not accessible on the surface, they are hidden, and can only be unlocked in the place of prayer (Matt. 13:10-11; Luke 8:9-10).

There is a dimension of the Spirit, which we can never access, unless we cultivate a lifestyle of ceaseless prayer. This kind of prayer can only be done through the help of the Holy Spirit…

The glorious destiny of nations are birthed and released on the altar of prayer! May the LORD baptize us with the Spirit of prayer...

Lord, grant me the Spirit of fervency in prayer that the manifold wisdom of God might made manifest in me (Ephesians 3:8-12).

Furthermore, through the Spirit of prayer, we get equipped as men of war, after the similitude of our heavenly Father. The Lord is a Man of war, the Lord is His name (Exodus 15:3). David was also referred to as a mighty valiant man (warrior) in 1 Samuel 16:18.

The same David said, ‘He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze’ (2 Samuel 22:35; Psalm 18:34). The Bible also made references to David as a man of prayer (2 Samuel 7:18-29; Psalm 86:1-17).

As spiritual soldiers enrolled into the army of Christ, we must cultivate a lifestyle of prayer (2 Tim. 2:4).

‘Likewise, the Spirit helps our infirmities (in our weaknesses)… for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered…

How can I cultivate the Spirit of Prayer?

1. Develop a craving for God.

A strong desire, love or affection for God must pervade our hearts. In spite of the gross darkness covering the world around us, we must hold on dearly to the Word of God, earnestly covet His presence and constantly desire the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 63:1).

What do you seek? Who do you seek? Do you seek Jesus? (John 1:35-39).

A craving for God energizes you to pray more, according to the will of God.

2. Build a culture of worship.

Cultivate a lifestyle of worship. Be an altar rarer! Our lives, experiences, situations, circumstances, times and seasons must at the long run, lead to the worship of the Father. Our lives must be built around worship (Rev. 4:11).

Through a lifestyle of worship, your inner motive becomes purified everything you do is centered around God. Your prayer life is patterned to suite God’s purpose.

God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24).

3. Ask, seek, knock… until you experience the rain of the Spirit (Acts 1:8; 4:31; Luke 24:49).

In the place of prayer, you are guaranteed of the supply of the Spirit. When your prayer is firmly rooted in the Word of God, it will command God's attention...

It's impossible to pray amiss under the guidance of the Holy Spirit...

The Spirit of Christ in us sensitizes us and keeps us in the light concerning the day of the Lord (1 Thess. 5:1-11).

This was when we had just started streams of revival church. Great memories, how people would fill up that room with an intense presence of the Holy Spirit…people coming from no where testifying how the Lord told them to come and fellowship with us, how people could get healed and God do wonderful miracles without any one touching them but getting healed in the presence of God….
We will come back stronger and this time round we will not be persecuted by any landlord but we will own our church premise in Jesus Christ name….

Always remember this: you are here for a reason. Your life has meaning, and your presence on this earth is not by chance. Never underestimate yourself or let self-doubt convince you that you’re not enough. You are extraordinary—uniquely gifted, divinely equipped, and filled with untapped power.

Even when circumstances try to dim your light, remind yourself that you carry within you the strength to rise, to overcome, and to become everything you were created to be.

Inside you lies the potential to shift the direction of your entire family line—to break generational cycles, to build new legacies, and to set a higher standard for those who come after you. Your dreams, your resilience, your faith, and your choices can birth a future marked by greatness.

You may not see the full picture yet, but every small step you take in purpose and intention is planting seeds of transformation. So walk boldly, knowing that you are more powerful than you realize, and the impact you’re capable of making is far greater than you can imagine.

Be very careful how you treat people, especially those who are kind, genuine, and good-hearted. Taking others for granted or mistreating them may seem harmless in the moment, but you never truly know the value they bring or the silent battles they’re fighting. People of character and sincerity are rare gems in today’s world, and once you lose them—through neglect, disrespect, or indifference—it’s nearly impossible to find anyone quite like them again. What may seem ordinary today could turn out to be the most extraordinary blessing you failed to appreciate. Never underestimate the quiet strength and irreplaceable impact someone can have on your life.

Friends, never forget—it is God’s desire for you to grow, to thrive, and to reveal the greatness He has already placed within you. You were not created to live in fear, defeat, or limitation. There’s a divine mandate over your life to rise, to shine, and to walk boldly in purpose (Isiah 60:1) .
Every day is a fresh opportunity to step into the fullness of your destiny, but it starts with your words and your belief. Aligning your speech with God’s promises sets the tone for victory.

So when you wake up, speak this boldly over your life: “I decree and declare, this is the day the Lord has made! Everywhere I go, I will find favor. Doors will open for me, grace will go before me, goodness will follow me, and breakthrough will find me.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am chosen, I am equipped, and I am walking in divine alignment. Today is marked for my rising.” Declare it with confidence, because speaking God’s Word isn’t just motivation—it’s activation. It’s how you partner with Heaven to see His will unfold in your life.

Marriage, as designed by God, is meant to be a sacred, lifelong covenant. It is not just a union of two people but a divine partnership intended to endure through all seasons of life. The choice of a spouse is one of the most significant decisions you will ever make, as it will profoundly shape your journey, your faith, and even your legacy.

Your partner will influence your values, your growth, and the path you walk together. They will share in your joys, challenges, and trials, and their character, faith, and commitment will either strengthen or hinder your own. This is not a decision to be taken lightly or made carelessly.

Be intentional, prayerful, and discerning when choosing who to marry. Do not settle or rush into a relationship simply out of fear, pressure, or fleeting emotions. Seek someone who shares your faith, vision, and values—someone who will build with you, not tear you down. The gravity of this choice cannot be overstated. Be wise, be patient, and above all, trust God to guide you to the partner He has prepared for you.

The spiritual realm operates on covenants—whether direct or through association. Who you align with can connect you to the altars at work in their lives, bringing either blessings or battles upon you.

When the forces of darkness oppose someone, they also resist anyone who supports them. We see this clearly in Jonah’s story: when he fled from God’s will, a storm arose—not because of the crew’s sins, but because of the man they allowed on board. Only when Jonah was cast out did the storm cease (Jonah 1:4-15).

May God open our eyes to discern unholy connections, sever every destructive tie, and align us with those who carry altars of favor, breakthrough, and divine purpose. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The more time and energy you invest in things that are not meant for you, the longer you delay the opportunities, experiences, and blessings that are truly yours. When you hold on to situations, people, or paths that do not align with your purpose, you create unnecessary obstacles that prevent you from embracing what is rightfully meant to come your way. Every moment spent entertaining the wrong distractions is a moment taken away from building the life you deserve. By letting go of what no longer serves you, you make space for growth, fulfillment, and the opportunities that are genuinely meant for you.

Rest easy tonight with the assurance that God is greater than any challenge you are facing today or may encounter in the days ahead. No matter how overwhelming your worries may seem, His strength, wisdom, and love surpass every difficulty. There is no obstacle too large, no uncertainty too daunting, and no storm too fierce that He cannot calm. Surrender your anxieties and fears, knowing that you are held in His capable hands. His presence is unwavering, and His grace is more than enough to carry you through whatever comes your way.

As you close your eyes and embrace the stillness of the night, let go of the burdens weighing on your heart. Trust that God is already working things out in ways you cannot yet see. His plans for you are filled with hope and purpose, even in the moments that feel uncertain. So rest peacefully, knowing that you are never alone—He is watching over you, guiding your steps, and preparing you for the blessings ahead. Sleep well, for tomorrow is in His hands. Goodnight!

If ever there was a man who struggled with low self-esteem, it was Gideon. Perhaps it stemmed from his background, because when God called him, his immediate reaction was to focus on his shortcomings:

“Lord, how can You use me? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family!”

Time and again, he doubted himself, questioning whether God could truly work through him. But God, in His patience, met Gideon where he was. Every time Gideon sought reassurance, God provided it. While Gideon saw himself as weak and insignificant, God saw him differently—He called him “a mighty man of valor.”

Despite his fears, Gideon stepped into his calling, and through him, God delivered Israel. Under his leadership, the nation experienced peace for forty years.

You are not defined by others’ opinions. You are not even defined by your own doubts. You are who God says you are.

So let go of that limiting mindset and step forward with confidence. God’s purpose for you is greater than your fears—trust Him and move boldly in the direction He is leading you.

Everything that unfolds in the physical world is merely a reflection of what has already taken place in the spiritual realm.

You can appear free in the physical, yet be bound in the spiritual—and this unseen captivity is why so many struggle to move forward in life.
