Theme Song: You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban.
Beloved, even when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel; remember that Christ Jesus is the Light within you as you go through darkness in your life. Christ speaks softly and gently in a deep yet tender and loving voice saying; “Come to me all you who labour and are heavy laden, I will give you rest”- Matthew 11:28. We ought to come to Christ as soon as possible when we are challenged or troubled by circumstances in life, other than trying to toil and solve them by ourselves and only informing Him about them; till when we hit the dead-end then remember to fully surrender to Him. We often a time, just tell God about our problems as we try to solve them on our own. Instead of totally surrendering to Him and patiently wait upon Him for His miraculous divine intervention and breakthroughs. Job lost his 10 children, possessions and wealth. He suffered from a horrible skin ailment; yet through it all, despite his human nature; he never doubted that full submission and trust in God was his only solace and fortress. He even went ahead to say “The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!” in Job 1:21b.
I really don’t know nor understand what you’ve been or are still going through before and during this COVID 19 pandemic period that has broken you or and what you have lost; probably you were heart broken by your very own or lover, lost a family member, lost your job or business. But I beseech you, to put your total trust and hope in God. The best things come to you when you let go of control and expectations of how things should be, but when you totally surrender and submit to the divine plan and timing; then open your heart and soul for miracles that can be found in each day like the gift of life. Sometimes, it’s easy to look back and question the decisions you have made in the past, which is okay; though it’s unfair to blame and punish yourself for not knowing back then what you know now. May be the person you’re now would have done things differently in the past; however, you’re probably the person you’re now because of those decisions you made in the past. You ought to know that every battle in your life won’t last forever; seasons come and go, and that you should endure the battle you’re in at the moment because there will be a blessing from God soon. Until it’s your turn, be happy for other people’s achievements and don’t seek to be relevant, liked, seen or desired. Seek integrity, humility and live your life walking in the footsteps of Christ. When challenged by your foes, be silent and watch how things playout that will save you from unnecessary arguments and drama. Bear it in mind, that not only does the enemy and evil one make you ignorant about your position before God your creator, but they make you to love ignorance and hate the knowledge of God’s word. I implore you to always trust in God’s timing; time has no holidays nor do dreams have expiry dates. The will of God will never take you where His grace can’t sustain you; so cast your cares on the Lord, He will sustain you and never let you be shaken – Psalm 55:22. Never stop being a good person simply because of some bad people that hurt you. The ships at sea don’t sink because of the water around them; rather they sink because of the water that gets in them. Don’t let what’s happening around you get inside you to the extent of weighing you down; what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger! Failure is part of life; the danger is to fall then fail to rise up. If you don’t fail, you might not learn; and if you don’t learn, you’ll never change. God’s word stands forever – Isaiah 40:8, God is able to do immeasurably more than we can petition or contemplate about; according to His power that is at work within us – Ephesians 3:20. God encourages us to call unto Him in Jeremiah 33:3, He assures us of the good plans to bring us a bright future and hope - Jeremiah 29:11 and that we should rejoice always, pray continually and give Him thanks in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. God asks us not to fear because He will strengthen us - Isaiah 41:10 and not to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication we ought to make our requests known to Him and His peace that surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds – Philippians 4:6-7. Never burn your opportunities or settle for less because of temporary comfort; because He who begun a good work in you will carry it on to completion – Philippians 1:6. In the end, God blessed Job for his faithfulness as cited from the key Scripture; “And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed, the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before” – Job 42:10. Hallelujah, what a wonderful God we serve who pays back in double portions for our losses!
In conclusion, may you commit your deepest wounds and troubles that need divine healing and restoration from God; fully surrendering and beseeching Him, to help you have faith as you wait for His intervention; by trusting Him and His ways, plans and timing. May faith lift you through the storms, love console you when you need it most and hope be your radiant illumination till dusk in Christ Jesus’ name. AMEN. 🙏🏽
Yours in Christ,
Daniel Jeremiah TAMALE
