EXERCISE JESUS' ATTITUDE

Monday 30th December 2019
Pastors' Emma and CathyKing Mukisa

Hebrews 12:2 "... who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Our opening scripture shows us a very wonderful attitude that the Master had towards accomplishing His mission from the father. As child of God, you ought to have the same attitude in whatever is assigned to you by your leaders.

When the Lord Jesus was being beaten and the cross being too heavy for him and even fell several times, the Bible says that due to the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross; He was looking at the end result of His death, He was seeing me and you today, He didn't mind the present situation no matter what.

You should also have this mindset that Jesus had on His way to calvary. When you are told to do evangelism, you may find difficult times in the process but don't look at that, the Bible says that there is joy in heaven whenever a soul is won to God. You should be looking at the life that man or woman receives and what they become in Christ.

Never let nothing divert your attention from whatever you are doing for the Lord til that time comes when you can say it is finished. Choose today to be the reason why something Good and beneficial to the Church happens, be behind the scenes of things that bring joy in your world.

CONFESSION
I choose to see things with the eyes of the Lord and I give maximum attention to everything that is assigned unto me, l choose to exercise the character of Christ from today in Jesus' name, Amen.

MOVE BY GOD'S PLAN

Sunday 29th December 2019_
_Pastors' Emma and CathyKing Mukisa_

Ephesians 2: 10 (AMP) "For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), [d]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]."

God has prepared your life for greatness. He has preordained your life according to his purpose, so it's upon you His child to locate yourself in His great plan for your you. Not all children of God become what He has planned for them . Being born again doesn't mean it's automatic to do all the good works God has planned for u because everyone has their own will to make decisions. That's why you can find someone doing something different from the will of God.

But you as a child of know that it's very bad to choose the wrong way, the Bible says in Prov 16:25 "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." As a child of God, locate yourself in God's plan, know that you are going to fulfil His destiny for your life. It's your responsibility to walk in the path He has prepared for you.

Therefore, to live in God's destiny for your life you should have a good knowledge and understanding of God's word as an individual, someone said a very wonderful statement which I believe is true, he said "if you want to know the will of God know His word, and if you want to do the will of God do His word". God's word is wisdom and light, as you study and meditate on it you will be guided to make right choices that are in line with God's plan for your life.

CONFESSION
I'm walking according to God's plan for my life, I'm fulfilling His dream and bringing glory to His Name and I increase in the knowledge of God's word on a daily basis. My walk with God is highly fruitful as i function in God's

WORSHIP FROM YOUR HEART

_Saturday 28th December 2019_
Pastors' Emma and Cathyking Mukisa

Mark 14:3 "And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the l***r, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she broke the box, and poured it on his head."

The spikenard was a fragrant plant, and its roots were used in Jesus' day to make an aromatic, costly perfume and ointment. The plant, itself, grows in the Himalaya Mountains at an elevation of 11,000 to 17,000 feet. For centuries, it was used by Hindus as a medicine and perfume and was an actively traded commodity. It's great cost stemmed from that it had to be transported over 6,000 miles to reach Palestine, and depending on quality, it sold for as much as 400 denarii per pound (or $750 an ounce, is the modern purchasing equivalent). That made it more valuable than gold.

This ointment was worth at least two and one-half times more than the thirty pieces of silver that Judas received for betraying the Lord, which is why Judas was so upset. This perfume was worth two and one-half times what Judas thought Jesus was worth.

Judas and some of the other disciples thought this was a waste. That was only because they didn't value Jesus as highly as Mary did. Mary had seen Jesus raise her brother from the dead and her heart was overflowing with love and worship. The disciples were looking on the outward things while Jesus was looking at Mary's heart (1 Samuel 16:7). What God wants and is seeking for is not the worship that comes from the mind or outward, He is seeking for them that will worship Him in spirit and in truth. God is a spirit and those that come to Him can only do that by the spirit.

Worship that comes from the heart is what God is searching for. Many people think that God is moved by emotions but God is only moved by what comes from the heart. You can lift up your hands or kneel down or even cry on the outside yet your h

BE HUMBLE

_Thursday 26th December 2019_
Pastors Emma and CathyKing Mukisa

1 Peter 5:5 "Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble"

As you study God’s Word, you will discover the kind of life God wants you to live and how He wants you to live it. He sent Jesus to the world to be our perfect example. How did Jesus live? He was humble. The Bible says, “…he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. WHEREFORE GOD ALSO HATH HIGHLY EXALTED HIM…” (Philippians 2:8-9).

True humility is submitting yourself to the authority, influence, and impact of God’s Word. True humility is receiving the Word into your heart and acting accordingly, making definite changes in your character and attitude with, and through the Word.

For example, if you were in a church service listening to the Word of God, how do you respond? Do you receive it into your heart, or do you wish that the person who has offended you was listening? Don’t be that way; a sign of humility is for you to always receive the Word for yourself, to change your life from glory to glory.

Child of God, eschew pride and arrogance in your life. Be clothed with humility, and just like David, God will surely promote and exalt you.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me your Word, and showing me the essence of humility, a glorious quality that attracts divine favour and promotion. I walk in love and submissiveness to the Word today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

HIS LOVE FOR YOU IS IMMEASURABLE

Tuesday 24th December 2019_
_Pastors' Emma and CathyKing Mukisa_

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

God loves you more than you can imagine - you can neither measure nor compare his love for you to anything. When the Bible says, “God so loved the world,” it wasn’t the hills, mountains, vegetation, rivers, etc. in the world that He loved; it was the world of men - you and me! He loved us so much and He sent Jesus to take our place of sin on the cross, so that we might take His place of righteousness: “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

John 15:13 says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”The Lord Jesus laid down His life for us, like no one ever did. He was divine, righteous and without sin, but was offered up as a sacrifice for the sin of the world. He wasn’t the first to be crucified, but He was the first to be crucified of His own will in the place of others. He could have said no; He could have saved Himself; but He chose to go on and die for sinners—the criminals, murderers, robbers etc. Everything He did was for the love of man.

Jesus came, lived, worked wonders, died, and resurrected, all for the love of man. Think about this: He didn’t come to save us because we were many, no! If you were the only one on the face of the earth, Jesus would still have come to save you. You’re that important to Him. You’re the object of His love. He loves you more than you could ever imagine.

Child of God, walk every day in, and with, the consciousness of His everlasting love for you. He said to Jeremiah, “…I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee” (Jeremiah 31:3)

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you
