Jesus's redemption for humanity came about as a result of his resurrection, which is inextricably linked to his death on the cross. This topic explores the significance of the cross and resurrection, their relationship to salvation, and the key aspects of redemption through resurrection.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ was prophesied in the Old Testament. For example, David wrote in _Psalm 16:9-10_, "Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay." This prophecy was fulfilled in Jesus's resurrection, demonstrating God's power and faithfulness. As Matthew 28:1-10 describes, Jesus's resurrection was a pivotal event, marked by an angel's announcement and Jesus's appearance to the women.

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the foundation of our salvation. Jesus's death on the cross paid the price for humanity's sins, while his resurrection demonstrated his power over death and sin. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can receive forgiveness, justification, and eternal life. As 1 Peter 1:18-19 reminds us, "For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect."

Salvation is not possible without the death and resurrection of Jesus. The cross represents the sacrifice that Jesus made for humanity, while the resurrection demonstrates his power over death and sin. These two events are inextricably linked, and together they provide the basis for our salvation. As 1 Peter 1:1-5 explains, our inheritance is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for those who are shielded by God's power.

- Jesus's death on the cross paid the price for humanity's sins.
- Jesus's resurrection demonstrated his power over death and sin.
- Salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ.
- The death and resurrection of Jesus are the foundation of our justification.

Redemption through resurrection is a fundamental truth, highlighting the significance of Jesus's death and resurrection in providing salvation for humanity. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can receive forgiveness, justification, and eternal life. The cross and resurrection are inextricably linked, and together they provide the basis for our salvation.

[25] I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
[26] And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God;
[27] I myself will see him with my own eyesโ€”I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!

As I studied this scripture, I came to understand that Job's confidence, through all he endured by the Spirit, was rooted in the knowledge that even in death, there would be resurrection. This hope is the same hope that we, as Christians, have in Christ Jesus our Lord. We know that even when we die in this flesh, we shall live. And if this hope is in you, you cannot fear death.

Our confidence should not be in the material things we have acquiredโ€”money, houses, lands, cars, or anything elseโ€”for all these shall perish, but in the Word of God, which shall remain forever.

May this hope and confidence in God's eternal Word bring us peace and courage in the face of uncertainty and adversity. As we reflect on this passage, let us ask ourselves: What are the things that we are placing our confidence in today? Are they earthly possessions or the eternal promises of God? As we enter the season of celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, may we continually fix our eyes on the hope of eternal life and find peace in the unchanging nature of God's word.

In the Christian faith, being a disciple of Jesus is a calling that requires a deep commitment to serving Him above all else. As followers of Christ, we are called to dedicate our lives to learning from Him, serving Him, and spreading His message to others. This exploration will examine the importance of being a disciple of Jesus, the dangers of worldly attachments, and the need to prioritise our devotion to God. In summary, being a disciple of Jesus involves prioritising our devotion to God, avoiding worldly attachments, and reflecting on our motivations to ensure that our actions align with our faith and values.

A disciple of Jesus is an individual who has dedicated their life entirely to Jesus, prioritising learning from Him and serving Him above all else. This commitment requires a willingness to sacrifice everything for the sake of God's work. The twelve disciples of Jesus, having come to know Him intimately, made a conscious decision to devote themselves solely to serving Him. As servants of God, our obligation is to follow Christ's teachings and avoid straying from His path. For example, consider the story of Peter, who left his fishing business to follow Jesus (Matthew 4:18-20).

The teachings of Jesus and His early apostles contain numerous warnings against becoming overly attached to the world. Jesus Himself stated that one cannot serve two masters simultaneously (Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13). This fundamental principle underscores the importance of prioritising our devotion to God above all else. Worldly attachments can lead to spiritual complacency, distracting us from our true purpose and hindering our relationship with God. For example, excessive focus on material possessions, wealth, or social status can lead to a sense of self-sufficiency and independence from God. Consider the story of the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17-22), who was unwilling to give up his wealth and possessions to follow Jesus.

Our passions and motivations reveal our true intentions. Are we serving God with a genuine heart, or are we pursuing our own interests and desires? Reflecting on our values and priorities helps us ensure that our actions align with our faith and values. By examining our motivations, we can identify areas where we may be compromising our commitment to God and make necessary adjustments to realign ourselves with His will.

In conclusion, being a disciple of Jesus requires a deep commitment to serving Him above all else. This involves prioritising our devotion to God, avoiding worldly attachments, and reflecting on our motivations to ensure that our actions align with our faith and values. As we journey on this path, may we find joy, peace, and purpose in serving our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. May we also persevere in our faith, staying committed to our calling and avoiding the distractions and temptations of the world. May God bless and guide us as we seek to follow Him with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength.

As believers, we often hear about the importance of having a personal relationship with Christ. But what does it truly mean to be united with Him? The concept of being "submerged into Christ" is a powerful biblical principle that holds the key to understanding our identity, purpose, and destiny in Christ.

To be submerged into Christ means to be completely identified with Him, sharing in His death, burial, and resurrection. This union is made possible through faith, where believers are spiritually baptised into Christ's body (1 Corinthians 12:13). As a result, believers are:

- Crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20), which means we die to our old sinful nature.
- Buried with Him in baptism (Colossians 2:12), symbolising our break from the old life.
- Raised with Him to new life (Romans 6:4), empowering us to live a life of obedience.

This submersion into Christ has far-reaching implications:

- It signifies a break from the old life of sin and a new identity in Christ.
- It enables us to live a life of obedience to God, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
- It provides us with a sense of belonging and unity with other believers in the body of Christ.

Being submerged into Christ is not just a metaphorical concept, but a spiritual reality that transforms our lives. It's a call to surrender, to die to self, and to live for Christ.

In practical terms, being submerged into Christ means:

- We prioritise our relationship with Him above all else.
- We seek to obey His commands and live according to His will.
- We find our identity and purpose in Him, rather than in worldly pursuits.

In conclusion, being submerged into Christ is a profound biblical principle that signifies a believer's union with Christ. Through faith and spiritual baptism, believers are identified with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, enabling us to live a new life of obedience and unity with other believers.

The greatest interest the devil has in you is not your money, car, house, land or any other material thing. Scripture says in Ephesians 5:14-17 (KJV):

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. [15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, [16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. [17] Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

What did Apostle Paul mean when he said, redeeming time?

- Redeeming time, in biblical context, means utilising time effectively.
- Rescuing time from being wasted or used unwisely.
- Buying back or redeeming time, making the most of every opportunity.

Paul's emphasis was on the importance of being intentional and wise with our time, recognising that it's a limited and precious resource.

Before God can give you money or any other tool to use in His Kingdom, He will give you time. Time is an essential resource God gives to His people, and if you use it wisely, you will reach your preordained mandate.

Most people have not recognised time as a resource, but if you come to understand this, you will do things and reach your potential goal. Regrets that people experience sometimes come as a result of not utilising time. If the devil steals your time, he has stolen your dream/vision. Businesses have been destroyed because of not using time wisely.

In conclusion, time is a precious and limited resource that requires wise management. The devil's greatest interest is in stealing your time, but by recognising its value and utilising it effectively, you can overcome his schemes. As children of God, let us make a conscious effort to redeem our time, prioritise our activities, and make the most of every opportunity to fulfil our purpose and reach our potential goal.

The importance of oneness in the body of Christ, His church, is a vital aspect of our faith. Here are some key reasons why oneness matters:

Jesus' prayer in John 17:22-23 emphasizes the importance of oneness among believers, saying, "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are oneโ€”I in them and you in meโ€”so that they may be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

- Reflects God's Nature_: As a triune Godโ€”Father, Son, and Holy Spiritโ€”God is a perfect example of oneness. Our oneness reflects His nature and character.

- When we are one, we demonstrate Jesus' love to the world. This love is a powerful witness to the gospel.

- Empowers Effective Ministry_: Oneness in the body of Christ enables us to work together, using our diverse gifts and talents, to achieve a common purposeโ€”advancing God's kingdom.

- Fosters Spiritual Growth_: When believers are one, we can encourage, support, and edify one another, leading to spiritual growth and maturity.

- Overcomes Division and Strife_: Oneness helps us overcome divisions and strife, allowing us to focus on our shared mission and purpose.

Jesus did not plan for the church to be merely united but to be one, as the church is a family. During my time in the Reach Out department of KMC's youth ministry, we engaged in various activities that brought many souls to Christ. This was not because we had ample resources, but because we were one.

In 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Paul writes, "Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one bodyโ€”whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or freeโ€”and we were all given the one Spirit to drink."

May we strive for oneness in the body of Christ, reflecting God's love and nature to a world in need.

This ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿพis not true. Anyone possessed by demons is not a born again Christian (no Life of Christ in him or her)
You cannot have the Life of Christ in you and at the same time have demons in you.

The Bible teaches that when someone receives Christ as their Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live within them (Romans 8:9-11, 1 Corinthians 3:16). This means that the presence of God's Spirit and the life of Christ are incompatible with demonic presence or control.

As 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 states, "What fellowship can light have with darkness?... For you are the temple of the living God." When we become Christians, our bodies become temples of the Holy Spirit, and demons cannot cohabitate with God's Spirit.

However, it's essential to note that Christians can still be oppressed or influenced by demons through external attacks or spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12), but they cannot be possessed or controlled by demons in the same way that non-Christians can.

2 Corinthians 5:17 states:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (NIV)

This verse is a declaration of the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ. Here's a breakdown:

The Old Has Gone
- The "old" refers to the person's old nature, dominated by sin and its consequences.
- This old nature is characterized by selfishness, rebellion, and separation from God.

The New Has Come
- The "new" refers to the person's new nature, created in Christ Jesus.
- This new nature is characterized by righteousness, holiness, and a desire to obey God.

A New Creation
- The phrase "new creation" emphasizes the radical transformation that occurs when someone puts their faith in Christ.
- It's not just a superficial change, but a fundamental transformation of the person's identity, values, and behavior.

Implications
- This verse implies that believers are no longer defined by their past sins or mistakes.
- They are now defined by their new identity in Christ, which brings freedom, joy, and purpose.

Key Takeaway
2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us that, in Christ, we are not just improved or reformed versions of our old selves. We are entirely new creations, with a new nature, new desires, and a new purpose.
