_Hello good morning and praise the Lord hope you slept well. Let's do this devotion together._

*Luke 10:38-42*
This is a reknown story of sisters that were very good friend to Jesus who one day hosted him.. Martha worked hard to see that food gets ready while Mary was resting at the foot of Jesus. After the complaint from Matha Jesus said that Mary had chosen what was better.

What do you see from this? Let me share my insights with you.
Some of us are like Matha. We have been taken up by work and we have limited time for Jesus. In verse 40. *But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came up to him, and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister left me to serve alone? Ask her therefore to help me.”*

We have often been distracted that we can not see even God's hand in our lives. ```(Some are destructed, by friends, others work, some have got problems after problems others sicknesses and you are working so hard to treat a disease, to get a job, to please your friends)```. But just know this. *Some times you just need to relax and allow God to do what only he can do.*

*It is so easy to be busy with the work of God leaving the out the God of the work.*
Today let's resolve to be like Mary, sit at Jesus feet and listen to him and prayer to him and get instructions from him.
Because all that you are working for is found at his feet...

Share with me, what has been destructing you. I will be glad to pray with you

Have ablessed Sunday

Good morning and praise the Lord.

*Jeremiah 29:4-14*

Let me start with a question today. *_When you are faced with a tough situation how do you deal with it?__*

Some people just pack their things and go. Others begin to look for faults, some will start crying. Others begin to wish alot of things. For you what do you do?

The Israelites were faced with the same scenario. but God gives them a way forward.
1. When times are hard, keep living _(verse 4-6)_ We need to do everything possible to see that ministry is not at standstill. because of this hard time, don't close your business, keep working keep praying,

2. When times are hard, help people that hurt. _(Verse 7)_
*I know this is hard but its an instruction from God.* As a Christian, you can't afford to pay back evil for evil. it will show you are not different from the people you are fighting with. Infact God told the Israelites to pray that Babylon may prosper. Anger won't take you anywhere.

3. When times are hard don't be led astray. _(Verse 8-9)_ You know, because of the hard times, every idea looks to you like a solution. every advise looks as if it is correct. Some people in this season will take advantage of others desperaracy to manipulate them.

Don't just receive any information, think think and think. You have brains to allow to be led astray looking for Miracles and you leave the miracle worker.

4. When times are hard, Look to the future. _(10-14)_
*No desert time lasts forever* When times are hard, you may not understand, you may see as if all is gone, but be sure that he who changes destiny is still in control.

God has given us his promises that he has better plans for us. one day he will bring us out of this. you have no other reason to go on, atleast cling on his promise.

Hard times varry from individual to individual, but no matter what it is your challenge is not out of the reach of God.

Have a lovely Friday

Today's devotion: *The Preaching of The Word*

_*And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. Acts.20:7*_

There is something the Spirit of God is revisiting in our day, that once reigned in the church. Which is sharing the word of God, the hunger to share in the word is being released on men once again.

The verse shows us that Paul spoke unto these men until midnight, this is powerful. The church in those days loved listening to the word of God, believers loved to learn the word.

The love for the word of God stems from hungry men. Hungry men set the course of the gospel. If more Christians come to a place of desire where the word of God is standard, we will see more men locked into the word of God. May you be anchored by the word of God in Jesus name.

A blessed day

Praise the Lord.

*Let God fight the battle*

Let me tell you a story concerning a snake and an eagle. When an Eagle wants to fight a snake it picks the snake off the ground and takes it in the air. This is because an a snake has got stability on the ground and yet an eagle has stability in the air.

Why am I telling you this, in order to win your enemies do not fight the way they fight. Some people are good at talking and if you wan to talk you can't win them. Others are good at
tarnishing names and if you want to tarnish theirs you can't beat them in fabricating stories.

This is what you should do. *Pray* what I know about people who fight physical battles, they don't pray, they just pretend. Because the time they would have spent in praying and Bible study, they are using it to run around.

*Proverbs 6:12 A worthless and wicked person walks around saying perverse things;*
*13 he winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, and points with his fingers;*
*14 he plots evil with perverse thoughts in his heart, he spreads contention at all times.*
*15 Therefore, his disaster will come suddenly; in an instant he will be broken, and there will be no remedy*

I have just learnt to trust God to deal with such people that they can change and repent of their sins.
Do you know some people of that type, come-on, *let God fight the battle* when you trust him one day those same people will chew their own words.

*Let God fight the battle*

Today's devotion. *Keep your faith active*

_*Romans 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;*_

In a season like this where the entire world is worried about Coronavirus, you need to keep your faith activated. Your faith in God will save you and your family. In Romans 4:19, the bible says that _*"And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:"*_

Abraham was old in age and so was Sarah his wife. The bible says that Sarah had passed the age of child bearing (Gen 18:11) but they believed the word of God that he had spoken to Abraham. Sometimes "hard times" come, challenges come, plagues come, difficulties come but that shouldn't affect your faith negatively in any way but rather a time to even activate/raise your faith in God.

What weakens our faith in God is the false information that we listen to and meditate. However, as a child of God, you should only meditate on the word of God. Your faith will remain activated only if you meditate on the word daily. So no matter what is going on around the world, only keep your faith in God active because he is your refuge, your protection, buckler, your guide and your life.

Stay focused on the promises of God. Believe what he said he will do and live according to that. Declare what you believe. Speak out the word of God upon your life, your family, your nation, etc and you will live in victory and success. Hallelujah!

A blessed day
