*Thursday 4th March 2021*

I have been made a glorious spectacle to the world, to angels, and to all of nature. My life is a manifestation of the Christ-life and righteousness unto all men. I have made up my mind to live the life that God has given me, to the full. I have made up my mind to be everything that God has called me to be. I have made up my mind that I will walk in the victory that God has given me. I have made up my mind to be full of life, joyful, and live in divine health always, and nothing short of it. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I live in Christ Jesus, and Christ lives in me. He is in my head, He is in my hands, He is in my feet, He is in my bones, and He is all over me. My body is infused with life by God’s Spirit because of righteousness. I live and move by the Word of God; it is the only thing that matters and makes sense to me. I refuse and reject the life of this world, for I live far above its systems and its principles in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.

Now that you have been blessed with today's , share this. Bless someone else.

*KEEP “PUSHING” IN PRAYER*

_Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much_ *(James 5:16)*

When the Bible says there was no rain in the land of Israel according to the word of Elijah, it wasn’t that Elijah suddenly woke up and said, *“There’ll be no rain in Israel for the next three and half years.” No, the Bible says he prayed earnestly. 1 Kings 18:42 shows how he prayed; it says Elijah “bowed deeply in prayer, his face between his knees”* (MSG).

The Amplified Classic version of our theme verse aptly describes this kind of prayer: *“...The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”* It says the prayer is earnest, and there’s a persistence about it. In other words, it’s a sustained kind of prayer that’s marked by a deep feeling of conviction.

This isn’t the kind of prayer you pray at the dining table or when you’re hurrying off to work. There’re certain times and situations where you don’t just speak the word and go away; you persist in prayer. You keep pushing. You may be saying the same thing, but you’re pushing.

Jesus did that too in the Garden of Gethsemane. He said the same things in prayer, and He prayed that way for an hour. It wasn’t a two-minute prayer. He persisted, because he understood the stakes of the moment. We’re in a similar moment today. The stakes are high. You’ve got to take your personal prayer life more seriously.

Always stir yourself and respond to the call and urgency of prayer from your spirit, declaring the Word and crushing the forces of darkness, in the spirit. It may look like nothing is changing, but you keep pushing. You might ask, *“But when do I stop?”* You stop when you *“know that you know”* in your spirit that it’s done! Glory to God! You’ll sure

PUT A PREMIUM ON WORDS
(By Your Words, You’ll Be Justified or Condemned)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Matthew 12:37 AMP C “For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
A major reason some Christians have never really enjoyed the splendour and glory of Christianity is that they’ve never truly understood the importance of words. Even some who have been born again for long eventually give up after years of struggling to live the Christian life, simply because they don’t understand its foundational principles. It’s about words!

We function in the realities of the new creation through words. This is the spiritual principle that makes salvation possible in the first place: “…If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10). Our salvation was only activated when we vocalised our faith in the Lordship of Jesus. Salvation is the beginning of all the blessings in Christ; and if this principle works for salvation, it’ll work for everything else in Christ.

The Lord Jesus, during His earthly ministry, was an absolute success because He spoke the Father’s words and lived them. In John 12:49, He said, “For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.” Hebrews 13:5-6 makes reference to the same principle. It says, “…He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”” Your confessions should be in accordance with the Word of God, because you’re a child of the Word. So put a premium on words. Live by words—God’s Word— coming out of your lips.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Monday, November 30
Pastor Chris

WE GLORIFY HIS NAME

Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen (Ephesians 3:21).

Oftentimes, in prayer and songs of worship, some Christians would say, “O Lord, glorify your Name in all the earth.” It sounds okay, but it puts us in a position of expecting God to glorify His Name. And that’s not His idea; we’re the ones to glorify Him. Recall the words of Jesus in John 17:4 “I have glorified thee on the earth....” This is what we’re expected to do.

Our theme verse says, “Unto him be glory in the church...,” meaning that He expects the Church to give Him glory. Your life is for the glory of God. He’s glorified as you consistently live out His Word, bearing fruits of His divine life and nature in you. As you walk in health, prosperity, and impact your world with His righteousness, greatness, beauty and wisdom; as you produce Word-based results, the Lord is glorified.

No wonder Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” He’s glorified by your works of righteousness. In John 17:4 that we read earlier, the latter part shows that Jesus glorified the Father by doing what the Father wanted Him to do: “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” This is one of the reasons you must study the Word to know what He wants, so that every day, and in every place, you glorify Him by living out His Word. Praise God!

CONFESSION

God has glorified Himself in me; now, I carry that glory everywhere. There’s no shame in my life; I walk in glory, and my life is full of honour, splendour, greatness, beauty, favour! I walk consistently in divine health, prosperity, and impact my world with His glory. Praise God!

FOLLOW THE RULES
(Use The Name of Jesus The Right Way in Prayer)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 16:23 GNB “When that day comes, you will not ask me for anything. I am telling you the truth: the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name.”

▶️ LET’S TALK
“Dear Lord Jesus, please heal my grandmother; I pray in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen.”

If you or someone you know has been praying like this, well, I have news for you: that kind of prayer isn’t going to get answered!

There are simple rules of prayer—fundamental principles that, if not applied, would result in you praying amiss. For example, in the New Testament, we pray in the Name of Jesus. We don’t pray to Jesus or ask Him for anything; we pray to the Father in His Name. You can tell Jesus how much you love Him, praise Him, worship Him, and thank Him; but you don’t pray to Jesus in the Name of Jesus. When we pray, we stand in His stead; we take His place. So, we can’t be praying to Him in His Name or while standing in His stead. That won’t make any spiritual sense

In John 16:23 the Lord Jesus Himself said, “...in that day, you will no longer ask me anything” (NIV). Another version puts it this way: “…you will not pray to me…” Here, the Lord Jesus wasn’t talking about a particular day He had appointed after He got to heaven, nor was He talking about the day of crucifixion. He was referring to the day of salvation, the day of the new creation. That’s the day we live in today.

If you’ve been praying to or through Jesus in this new day, or you’ve been asking Him for things, your prayers will remain unanswered. However, when you pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus, you’re exercising the power of attorney He gave you to use His Name. This means you’re operating the full legal powers He gave you to act in His stead and on His behalf. When you pray in His Name, it’s as though Jesus Himself were speaking, and everything responds to you the same way they would to Jesus. Glory to His Name forever!
