*🫶Jonah was a prophet,who was instructed by God to go to Nineveh, a wicked city, and warn its people to repent. But Jonah didn't want to go. He tried to flee from God by boarding a ship sailing in the opposite direction.😥*

*However, God was not pleased with* *Jonah's disobedience💘. He sent a great storm to the sea, and the ship was about to be destroyed💔. The sailors on board were terrified, but Jonah knew that the storm was because of his disobedience.*🥺

*🤦‍♂️Jonah told the sailors to throw him overboard, and to their surprise, the storm subsided as soon as Jonah was in the water. But God wasn't finished with Jonah yet.*

*God sent a huge whale 🐋 to swallow* *Jonah, and for three days and three nights, Jonah was inside the whale's belly. While inside, Jonah prayed to God, repenting of his disobedience and promising to obey Him.❤‍🩹*

*❤‍🩹God heard Jonah's prayer🙏 and commanded the whale to spit Jonah out. And to Jonah's surprise, he was vomited out onto dry land🫶.*

*After his ordeal, Jonah went to Nineveh and preached God's message to the people. And to everyone's surprise, the people of Nineveh repented, and God spared the city from destruction🤗🙏.*

One of the biggest roadblocks for ministry leaders is getting clear on their mission and vision. It’s easy to have a heart for serving but struggle to put it into words.

So let’s break it down together 👇

💡 Your Mission Statement Should Answer:

✅ Who are you called to serve?
✅ What transformation do you want to see in their lives?
✅ How will you help them?

Mission Statement Formula:
“We exist to [impact] for [audience] by [method].”

✨ Example:
“We exist to encourage and equip young women in their faith through online Bible studies and in-person community gatherings.”

💡 Your Vision Statement Should Paint a Picture of the Future:

Your vision is where you want your ministry to go long-term. Think about:
🔹 What lasting impact will this ministry have?
🔹 What would success look like 5-10 years from now?
🔹 How will lives be changed because of this?

✨ Example:
“To see a generation of young women confidently living out their faith, deeply rooted in biblical truth, and leading others into a relationship with Jesus.”
