In whose name are we supposed to be baptized in ? Is it the name of Jesus Christ or name of the father , son and holyspirit ?

*Today's Devotion on 7th/Thur/Sept/2023* .

*What Are Your Heart’s* *Desires?*

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4 KJV

When the Lord is your delight, you witness the biggest satisfaction and contentment in your life. As long as you have Jesus, you can wake up in the morning and sleep at night in perfect peace. Even with some worries and concerns, you know that He never leaves you or forsakes you. And since you’ve made Him the center of your life, He continues to challenge you to reach for greater dreams and aspire for greater purpose so that everyone will see His glory and power in your life.

Beloved, the Lord sees the desires of your heart even if He is all you ever wanted in this life. He wants you to continue to excel in all aspects of your life, to be an inspiration to the next generation, to make your loved ones proud, and to give Him all the glory! Lay all your heart’s desires on the Lord, beloved, for He is faithful to fulfill them as you delight in Him Who is worthy of all! Hallelujah to our good God!

*Prayer point:* My Lord Jesus, You are my utmost delight in this life! Thank You for acknowledging all my heart's desires and fulfilling them according to Your will. More than anything, I just want Your presence and involvement in all areas of my life in Jesus' name. Amen.

*Today's scripture of devotion on Wednesday 6th of Sept 2023.*

*God Never Fails to Show Up!*

Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God. 1 Kings 18:38-39 KJV

When our faith is being challenged, questioned, and mocked by others, especially our unsaved loved ones, there can be pressure to start proving to them that we are walking according to the truth and that God is real in our lives. That was not the case for Elijah, as we can read in the opening scripture. When he called out to God to send fire from heaven, he was confident that God would show up and not shame him in front of all the people. And God did show Himself to all that He was the true Living God!

Beloved, don’t be pressured by people’s expectations, opinions, and mocking. Instead, continue to be faithful to the Lord and seek His help at all times. He will never fail to show His glory and power in your life for your loved ones and all the mockers to see! God always confirms His words and promises in glorious signs and wonders. It’s the truth (Hebrews 2:4, Mark 16:20)! Don’t worry about a thing and keep serving Him Who is faithful to show up! Be encouraged!

*Prayer point:* My powerful Father, the One and True Living God, You never failed to fulfill Your promises and Your Word upon my life. I don’t have to be moved by anything, for I know that You live and always prove Your existence by showing Your glory for all to see. Thank You for manifesting in my life so that the people will see how good You are to me and come to repentance in Jesus’ name!

Today's Sunday Devotion .

*Don’t be afraid of those who put you in the fire!*

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Daniel 3:17-18 KJV

My brother or sister do you believe that God is able to deliver you and save you even when the people around you scheme against you?
We can learn so much from Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, whose confidence and faith in the Lord were unbreakable. They were surrounded by a nation whose leader wanted them to bow down to other gods, but they did not compromise! They were not afraid of the consequences, for they knew that the Lord God would save and rescue them!

Beloved, when you put your whole trust and faith in the Lord and in His Word, He will never let you down. Remember, He is the miracle-working God Who works supernaturally and powerfully! He bypasses the laws of nature and defies all limitations. Jesus Christ said all things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9:23)! Hallelujah!

Prayer point: Lord God, thank You for Who You are! I can put my confidence and trust in You, knowing that You won’t let me down as I believe Your Word and promises for my life! I am not afraid of the enemy and its works, for I know that You are mighty to save me and my family always in Jesus’ name! Amen.
