Greetings and salutations in Jesus name, FB family and friends. I am posting this to clarify some things that are becoming more and more apparent. I am a One God believing born again Christian. I do not subscribe to the theory of the trinity mainly because it is not biblical, it is not found anywhere in the bible. Nor is the words co-eternal, and all that is used by secular Christianity to try and describe God. I believe in One God and Jesus is His name, not theirs, but His. I believe that you have to believe, but that does not save you. You have to do something with that belief. The Bible tells us that even devils believe and tremble. Jesus commanded us to believe and be baptized, and we see that the apostles did just that starting in Acts chapter 2, then again in chapters 8, 10, 19, with the name that Jesus commanded us to be baptized in (His name). When we are obedient to His command, we receive His Spirit as evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit(His) gives utterance. We are then to live a holy and separate life, that is pleasing to Him. Am I perfect, NO, I need to ask for forgiveness everyday because I'm human, only Jesus was perfect. If something isn't in the Word of God, I don't want to take part in it. If I feel it goes against the Word of God I hold that as MY conviction, so please don't think that I'm going to change my conviction because you don't like it. If I changed my convictions because of seeking your approval, then they aren't really convictions are they? I said all this because popular Christianity is more about being accepted, I would rather stand for Jesus by myself then to stand with the crowd and be lost for eternity.
