ENGLISH TRANSLATION
The Unity of the Muslim Ummah Is Necessary to Face Challenges.

The Muslim Ummah is today going through one of the most critical stages in its history. Challenges are increasing and crises are becoming more serious in various political, economic, social and intellectual fields. In light of these circumstances, there is an urgent need to unite the ranks and bring people together, because unity is one of the most important causes of strength, dignity and empowerment.
Islam has made unity one of the fundamental principles of the religion and has explicitly commanded it. Allah, the Exalted, says:
โAnd hold firmly, all together, to the rope of Allah and do not be divided.โ
(Qurโan 3:103)
Islam has also prohibited disputes and disagreements that lead to weakness and failure. Allah says:
โAnd do not dispute, lest you lose courage and your strength would depart.โ
(Qurโan 8:46)
The Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ demonstrated this great meaning when he established brotherhood between the Muhajirun (the emigrants) and the Ansar (the helpers). He built a strong and united society that was able to carry the message of Islam to the world.
The strength of the Muslims was not only in their large numbers or abundance of resources. Rather, it was in their unity of purpose and the strength of their internal solidarity.
What we are witnessing today of divisions, disagreements and conflicts among members of the Ummah in some Muslim countries weakens their ability to face common challenges. Likewise, the spread of sectarian, political-party and ethnic fanaticism leads to the tearing apart of the Islamic social fabric and diverts efforts away from major issues that require cooperation and integration.
Unity Does Not Mean Eliminating Legitimate Differences
Uniting the ranks does not mean eliminating diversity or legitimate differences in opinions and scholarly reasoning. This is something natural that the Muslim Ummah experienced since the era of the Companions.
Rather, what is intended is to manage differences with the spirit of Islamic brotherhood, to give priority to the general public interest over narrow interests, and to unite around the fundamental principles that bring Muslims together under one banner.
The Most Important Ways of Achieving Unity
Among the most important means of achieving unity are:
* Establishing a culture of dialogue and tolerance.
* Strengthening the role of scholars and religious leaders in spreading a message of moderation.
* Raising future generations on the values of brotherhood and cooperation.
* Staying away from hate speech and exclusion.
* Strengthening communication and coordination among members of the Ummah in different parts of the world.
The challenges facing Muslims today do not distinguish between one people and another, or one country and another. Therefore, confronting these challenges requires a shared vision and collective determination, based on the principles of tolerant Islam.
The more Muslims come closer to the meanings of brotherhood and unity, the greater their ability to rise, achieve development and establish stability.
Conclusion
The unity of the Ummah is not a secondary choice. Rather, it is a religious, civilizational and humanitarian necessity.
If the Ummah wants to regain its position and leading role, it must hold firmly to the strong rope of Allah and make unity and cooperation a permanent way of life.
We ask Allah Almighty to unite the hearts of Muslims, bring them together upon the truth, and grant them success in achieving what brings honour to Islam and goodness to the Ummah.
